I hope I'm able to contribute to the next fundraiser I missed the last two.
|
|
It may have already been addressed in the thread....
But with all the calls in this thread for another round of Nolo Dillo's, I'd hope that LaRue would send out Novembers Round 4 Nolo Dillos, before they offer to sell more. And I'd be happy to simply donate next time - sans Dillo's. |

Read the entire suit.... I like that you are pounding them on every front possible! From the Takings Clause all the way to Whitaker's legitimacy of appointment as AG! Your logic is literally undeniable.
Smart folks battling for our rights! Thanks for all you do Nolo. |

I sincerely applaud the effort and hope the suit succeeds. Frankly, I’d prefer the NFA go the way of the dodo. That said, I believe this suit could be better written. If the author(s) of the suit are members here, please contact me for editorial advice regarding future suits. I’ve been a tech writer for nearly 30 years and would happily give my time freely to our cause. I can’t claim perfection, but I do strive for professionalism.
I just want to do what I can to help. I can’t donate millions (hell, or even hundreds), but I can help make correspondence more effective. That’s my nerdy superpower. |

People are appointed "Acting" this that or the other around here regularly. If they were confirmed, they wouldn't be "Acting." At the start of every administration, most of the cabinet is in an "acting " capacity until they are confirmed. Some sub-cabinet positions even now don't have confirmed people in place because the Senate fucks off too much. Would it make you guys happy if Rosenstein signed it as the Senate-confirmed DAG? |

Thanks, Nolo.
You are a great man, and I am proud to say that you are from Mississippi! (I just wish that you would run for the Senate against those self-serving, loser candidates that we get.) |

Nolo, while most of us just blather on here, you’re doing what we all wish we could. Good luck ! And thank you

Thank you @NoloContendere and @wolfwood
I finally finished reading the suit. I appreciate your hard work and your drive to keep laws legal. God bless you both. Not knowing much about litigation, is it possible this will be settled before the 90 days is up and it becomes law? Or are people going to become felons overnight because they are waiting for the ruling before having to destroy or relinquish their private property? Thank you again for standing up for our 2A rights. It’s duly noted. ???? |

It won't be settled in 90 days. Hopefully they will get an injunction preventing the rule from proceeding until the case is settled. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Would there be any value in filing an additional suit as a Class action suit? Seems to be many thousands of owners that could be included?

Looks like Mr. Codrea penned his first article about the lawsuit:
David Codrea Ammoland article on lawsuit He made a great point and this photo made me laugh: David's bump stock started out life as an Akin's Accelerator, that was legal until ATF changed it's mind the first time......Neutered by spring removal and send to ATF, made legal again until it wasn't... So what will it be next week? |

All of the above...
Our freedom as law abiding Americans is under attack. And short of handing over our guns, it’s slipping away little bit by little bit... You would think this gun debate shit could be settled once and for all. But no. “They didn’t actually mean what they wrote in the 2A”... I think the writing is all over the wall. |

"Rubber ban" is misspelled on pg. 11. Should be "rubber band". Not trying to be a nitpicker but this is very important to all of us and it should be as correct as possible. I'm sure anyone reading it would understand the author's intent but it doesn't look good.

So is Mark LaRue back in the good graces of ARFCOM now?
Asking for a friend. |

So tell me if I have this right. Akins sent in a SKS in a prototype stock that was broken and did not function as intended. ATF said as supplied it was not a machine gun and sent it back. Akins then built his 10/22 version and started selling it without ever sending it to ATF for approval. ATF then ruled it a no go and he had to recall them or do his spacer spring fix whatever. That is what I remember reading and if true makes Akins a really poor example. People constantly bring it up as a example but in my opinion it was totally his fault and not the other way around. Our crap laws continue to be crap but if my understanding is correct he screwed the pooch. View Quote While Akins did send an SKS stock that broke, the purpose and function of the stock was made clear. ATF told Akins they understood the intended function and that it did not meet the definition of a machinegun. |
