Wait for real? We're there right now?

South Korea's been there for a day or two, but now Italy? Even Italy with its issues?

ETA:  the "half" number in france is ~150.
Again I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest the other half aren't.

Would be very interesting to find out of those first 150, what the story is.
And do those all of those need to be there, or are they there out of convenience because there's only 300 and they have the capacity?
A great question.
Do we even know if that news is real, or just a twitter checkmark?
I think it was attributed to a French government official - but again stuff gets attributed to US officials and it turns out to be untrue on a pretty regular basis.

I think the "whys" are interesting and often enlightening.
Italy's data, on their deaths, average age, 81. As of yesterday that was the case.
It's mirroring ours.
IIRC South Korea's is the same.

It's logical to scratch your head and wonder, "if the twitter checkmark is right, that's interesting to see so many youngsters, what happened?"

Up to half of all cases will be asymptomatic the entire duration.

That tells me the CFR is at least half of what is currently being reported. We also don't really know how many people get the flu every year, we just estimate it and take a well educated guess.
This is what has me pointing to the South Korean data as it has the largest sample, and doesn't have the great firewall of China situation
They had a very efficient testing situation, and they tested a fuckton of people.

They came up with around .7

de Gaulle mandated that in 46. It's a plan to keep Germany out by being stinky. Pepe Le Pew first appeared in 45 as a psy-op forerunner of the plan. He was designed to create a cognitive precondition that would make people more readily accept that France and her people were stinky and unpleasant.

Our flu statistics this year rolled deaths from viral pneumonia and anything with flu-like symptoms, even without a positive flu test, into overall flu deaths.

Look  at how the CDC comes up with the flu numbers.  Imho, they are padded to get the numbers up so more people get the flu shot.

Yes.  China is where we were 40-50 years ago.  Half of all adult males and one-third of adult females are smokers.  That, and shockingly high levels of airborne pollution.
I doubt France or Italy are as polluted as China, but I bet they have high levels of smoking.

Probably because they keep extending the official recovery time.  Does "recovery" mean "left the hospital, not expected to relapse" or does it mean "still probably has viruses in their system & maybe contagious?"

2016 rankings
Cigarette consumption per year per person
Ranking
63  France 1089.9

69  United States 1016.6

It was in 2016, now 10 pack of malboro is 2$ more expensive than it was then and we must be ranked under 80.

But don't worry we are 3rd world and you are the best, it's gonna be like the flu for you.
Dumbasses. A lot of you.

As for Germany they decided that they were only counting peoples wich died by C19 without any other symptoms. Anyone who died while sick from anything else is not on the stats.
So needless to say that their numbers are nothing more than horseshit.

Judging from the amount of 40 year olds and younger that have a total disregard for exercising, a penchant for eating unhealthy, I'd say a lot.
