In hindsight, there was quite a bit of telegraphing around Otmar’s departure.
One guess on who they aired on the Beyond the Grid podcast two days ago. |

Reynolds investment group is probably either super happy that they get to rebuild the team from scratch...or really pissed they potentially bought into the worst team on the grid. I would guess two things: - The actual money in that group has a long history of longer term sports investment. They are in at 24% on around $880 million valuation. The only “value” play is the “rising tide raises all boats” factor that is contingent on F1 maintaining a tight franchise model going forward. Time will make them money. - With Renault (I think) owning the other 76%, that don’t have much of a voice. They are really just along for the ride. |

Currently dumping rain at Spa.

My prediction would be clown. I think there is an element of "alpha" you have to have to win at all costs. I dont know the guy but he seems more beta than alpha. There is a drive that comes with it ...he doesnt strike me as having "it". You can only go so far with smarts. |

Have we done this one yet?
"Ferrari confirmed Laurent Mekies' rôle has Race Director came to an end this week. ???? He will not be in Spa this weekend and his position on the pitwall will be carried by Diego Loverno" LOL, silly season is starting with a bang this year. |

This is going to be a glorious shitshow without any practice.

Ok. If Verstappen doesn’t get a penalty for impeding on Albon…
I don’t see how this is different to what happen in Austria before the pit lane entry |

Big Ferrai mistake not letting sainz finish one good lap in inter

I don’t get it. Ferrari was supposed to be better on a slow track like the hungaroring and suck on a fast and drying track.
And yet so far we see the complete opposite. That’s crazy |

Well done Charles, especially considering you were first on track in Q3

Max is a fucking machine....a straight fucking machine able to deliver when it matters.

LoL what that RB-19 has in stock in just laughable.
They are really mocking everyone |

VER to P1 by lap 5 unless the track is wet, then it may take 10 laps.
Hopefully everyone gets a clean start on Sunday. |

Question on the Ver penalty, is that for the Sprint and the race or just the Sprint?

Wonder how long it going to take Hamilton to get by Leclerc and Russell to get by Sainz. Within a few laps, or have to wait until the inevitable Ferrari tire eating comes into play?
|
|
apparently in his fastest lap in Q3, Leclerc had a problem with his hybrid with a top speed at the 1st speed trap of 310km/h... when sainz had 320+ in the same point.
So the gap could have been slighly less than what we have. |
