It's a sad state of affairs here (I'm just across the river). The entitlement crowd didn't get what they wanted from the verdict. Even after the father of Mike Brown asked people to not act violently, they still managed to burn down 12 buildings and loot another 15 or so & torch two police cars. I sat here last night with 60 rounder in and leaning right next to my chair, I also had the M&P 40 on my person the whole time. It was quiet on this side of the river, but my boss called this morning and said "work is canceled for today". Now you can't turn to a channel on TV without 24 hour coverage. Mind you, they are doing nothing but repeating the same BS over and over. The media is driving this circus, if they would just leave it alone, people would probably go the hell home.

I think it's a joke that all of them were trying to put stipulations on what they wanted from the police and the law. Like there should be a special set of rules for them. They don't want to be profiled, yet they do NOTHING to change their basic profile as a whole. They keep rioting, looting and burning shit down, slinging rock on the corner, shoplifting and abandoning their kids. So, the profile stays the same. They have more opportunities than any other race in this country, (united negro college fund, ACLU, NAACP, BET television, the Obama plan for re-education if you got laid off) their just to damn lazy to go out and take the bull by the horns and work for it. They want it handed to them, and when they don't get it they call everyone else (who worked hard for their station in life) a racist. Somehow we all owe them something.
I was appalled that the police did nothing last night when they broke the windows out of the cruiser, tried to flip it over and eventually set t on fire. The media circus was looking for the slightest hint of them handing out the ass whoopings that NEEDED to be handed out. The cops are so gun shy by all of this media BS that they have their hands tied. |
