Are the Russians really getting their asses handed to them as the photos imply, or is this a classic case of "one-sided reporting" and there are just as many incidents of Ukrainian military assets being destroyed or captured?

Quoted: Are the Russians really getting their asses handed to them as the photos imply, or is this a classic case of "one-sided reporting" and there are just as many incidents of Ukrainian military assets being destroyed or captured? View Quote We can't know for sure, but to me, while the I think Ukrainian army is also being decimated, the fact the the ass handing pics of destroyed/captured/abandoned Russian equipment are all on social media, and that the Russians are currently banning social media, some banning themselves, like Tik Tok, means to me that the Russians are encountering blistering resistance they were not expecting and want to hide. Are they still steamrolling? Yes. But they are taking a righteous beating while doing so. The MSM is showing mainly death and destruction in Ukraine, but very little of the Russian war machine getting destroyed wholesale. That says a lot in my opinion. Also there is the probability that Russian troops are not allowed to use cellphones or use social media, as has been stated before. I think Russia will inevitably take Kiev and the rest of Ukraine, and the Ukraine war effort will become an insurgency, with Zelensky fleeing to the west, but Russia will take huge losses in doing so. The Russian military is turning out to be a paper tiger, and probably no match for the likes of NATO forces. Just my opinion. |

I think it’s unlikely that Russia can fix their logistics to support a war in western Ukraine. The thought of a rump Ukraine as a staging ground for a western supported insurgency is probably why the Russians are offering what would recently be considered relatively favorable terms.

Stop a javelin? The idea was to pre-detonate the javelin so it would not penetrate to turret top armor, like an RPG cage on a Stryker, but it doesn't seem to have been well tested. Javelin also has a small precursor warhead to clear the way for the main warhead to reach the main armor. I wonder if the rooftop “gazebo “ might be more effective against missiles like TOW-2B that make a level pass over the target and fire EFP’s down into it? |

I wonder what the % of vehicles killed in combat and ones that were broken down and torched? Seems like a lot of these look like they were broken down on the side of the road and then got lit up.
