I wish more of these photos would get out to all of the American soccer moms and fudds. This is what our side needs in support of the 2nd amendment, and shows precisely why it shouldn't be infringed upon.

Powerful images. I think Russia has overplayed their hand and will now be weaker not stronger. Prayers for those who are suffering.

Quoted: More Soviet Union references as "Nose Art", or just mothballed Soviet equipment not repainted? https://i.postimg.cc/J4FtZ4tQ/RC.jpg View Quote Theres a daily beast article that said it could be to avoid friendly fire because each country has similar equipment: Others have speculated Russia is borrowing a play used in World War II by allies who used symbols to avoid friendly fire accidents since most Ukraine tanks are Soviet era and easily confused with Russia’s fleet. There is also speculation that the “Z” could stand for Russian enemy no. 1: Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky, who has vowed he won’t be drawn into action by the saber rattling around his country. To further confuse matters, “Z” is not a letter in Russia’s Cyrillic alphabet. |

These pics of totally destroyed trucks/vehicles are showing up in the news a lot today. Any explanation? Russian or Ukrainian? And details of what happened?

Quoted: These pics of totally destroyed trucks/vehicles are showing up in the news a lot today. Any explanation? Russian or Ukrainian? And details of what happened? View Quote I have been reading that the Russian armored thrusts had poor tactical coordination, where the soft skin vehicles from support units were separated from and in some cases preceded the combat units - with devastating results. I think that is why so many trucks are seen burnt out. As far as the armor - it's very difficult to tell. As stated above by another poster, the knocked out tanks with the Javelin cages are most likely Russian - other than that - your guess is as good as mine. It will be while before we know what really happened - but I think there is no doubt at this point the Ukrainian defense has far exceeded expectations. Whether that will change to outcome at all, that remains to be seen. |
