OP, delivered, halfway at least. |
Advice to the newly married: it's important to keep a clean corner on your workbench, just in case your wife "walks in" and starts asking about your "gun"
Later on when you have kids those opportunities get fewer and fewer. |
OP you aren't taking a picture of Bigfoot or the Loch Ness Monster, you can actually FOCUS the camera before taking a pic.
I've been reorganizing and reinventoring my ammo all this last week and my wife has been looking like this during the whole process.
Of course I feel I don't have enough. |
this is what we all need for agent guys to see |
Lol. My wife doesn't know shit about guns. I buy a new one and don't need to "hide" it. They all look the same. Bought a PMR30 years ago. Left it on the bar in the man cave. She comes out and says: WHEN DID YOU GET THE NEW GUN? not thinking I said which one? Whoops.

Tell her I'm 34 and sort of want, she'll forget all about your icky guns
She's on the phone with a divorce lawyer now on one line and a gun appraiser on the other.

OP how does the CETME run? I kicked myself in the ass for not buying one when they were like $600 but then heard they were kind of a bitch to get running, that could just be the CETME-L's though.

But it's the sign that I held when I was protesting at the state capitol a decade ago, and they provided the signs for everyone and testified that day instead of leaving MD as a hopeless cause. There were so many protestors sitting in every room and hallway waiting to testify the fire marshal shut down the building, and the Ds had to reduce their efforts to a milquetoast ban instead of passing the governor's legislative wet dream. My marriage has been easy with regard to guns... If I buy myself one, then I buy her one, and everyone is happy.
Just got me a Beretta 92X and her a Shield Plus |

Quoted: So I was working in my gun room today and the wife (who doesn't say much about my gun hobby, she's cool with it) comes in, looks around and says "holy crap, how many guns do you have?) My reply was simply "Not enough". And we left it at that. OP, there is now way you live in MN. There's no snow on the ground in that pic.

My wife walked into my gun room last year while I was messing with some new guns. She asked me how much I had spent in the last six months on guns. I told her $45,000. She said, "wait, I thought you said $45,000?" I quickly added it in my head and said yeah, $45,000. She quit asking after that
Is is better to leave it at "how many guns do you have or should you spin it on her and say it "we have", but that might make her think she has a right to half your guns on D-day.

My wife walked in one night and says how many do we have? I say not sure. She counts. I say your forgetting the decoy cheapies in the Fudd cabinet and the 5 in the bedroom. She asks how much are they worth. I say multiply by a thousand for an average. She says OMG. I say add another $600 per gun for an average cost of optics on every one. She shook her head and walked out. I tell her there used to be more but I sold some to pay medical bills and house remodel projects. She says you’ll buy more won’t you? I say maybe if the deal is right. She says Okay and walks back upstairs. She gets it. |
Meh. Not a lot of guns, wife is great though.
Mine has no idea, and will not investigate. More than OP, less than most of Arfcom members. Op has some really cool ones I'd like though. Oh, Great looking Wife OP. |
You should sell a few and do a kitchen remodel then ask her if that's too subtle.

i see a distinct lack of nightvision, thermal, a team room dry erase board, and 1:50000 scale maps of your county with projector sheet overlays on the wall.
