I took my wife to several gun/ammo auctions this past year. I then had my wife help me inventory ammo this winter. I could tell she she was thinking $$$$

I am surprised I am the only one who noticed they guns are locked..... with a tiny master lock, holding a green cable of some sort made with cable clamps that have nuts.
Two mins with a paper clip and the master lock is open and closed, or if no paper clip, 2 mins with a multi tool and and away go the guns. Edit to make matters worse, the cable goes thru a mini 14 trigger guard, which pops right open to field strip. |

Quoted: My wife walked into my gun room last year while I was messing with some new guns. She asked me how much I had spent in the last six months on guns. I told her $45,000. She said, "wait, I thought you said $45,000?" I quickly added it in my head and said yeah, $45,000. She quit asking after that View Quote Hmmm… Maybe you should post more in those career-choice advice threads. |

My reply was simply "Not enough". And we left it at that. Obligatory wife pic. https://i.imgur.com/y7FsdX7.jpg Gun room pic https://i.imgur.com/Z6XswZ6.jpg View Quote |

OP, you are doing it wrong.
My wife has to walk through HER Fabric room to get to MY gun room. No problems ever with who spends too much on what :) |

Wife, looking at the guns in my office:"Looks like you have too many guns."
Me: "No, I just need another gun safe." |

Quoted: Advice to the newly married: it's important to keep a clean corner on your workbench, just in case your wife "walks in" and starts asking about your "gun" Later on when you have kids those opportunities get fewer and fewer. View Quote Attached File |

I've been married to the same lady for nearly 52 years. She said I came with a few guns. A room became an office with a desk, and guns plus ammo have been kept there. It was no longer an office but a gun room. One reason for a 2nd home was ~ another gun room. She recently told my daughter another gun arrived and she was sure there was enough ammo to make a down payment on a nice house the guns could pay it off. OK,,,, but not a big house!

I just can't imagine what it would be like to have an entire room that apparently your wife never enters.
That has to be amazing. Haha |
