That's how you get otherwise law abiding to think the government might not have their best interest in mind. The government does care about the citizenry, right? View Quote If you let criminals come hang out in your home, don't be surprised when their negative actions have greater implications for you. This wasn't a victim of a crime's house. I agree……from my experience between the military and LE: Military (at least 30 years ago) is much better in that area In LE: incompetent/corrupt leaders ……promotes like minded incompetent/corrupt supervisors and hire like minded officers who in tern are further indoctrinated into shit officers…..and then the leadership does nothing about it because they are like minded…..they promote it……and the cycle continues…..its like a bad parent enabling a bad child. You fix it by cutting the head off the snake…..get competent leaders who will and hold shitbags accountable …..so you need leadership with a spine, integrity, and a moral compass……and hire and train competent candidates Start there. Some agencies are beyond repair Some agencies are beyond reproach and have great cops with great attitudes and are competent with the law and how to treat people and handle situations professionally So I don’t broad brush……but I’ve had the privilege of working with good cops……. I’ve also seen the damage other agencies have done and caused to public trust |

At what point can you defend your home? There is no life and death situation, no warrant, saying you own the house bc you are there, and there are kids in it. Then, without warning, you grab and slam them against the wall, handcuffed, arrested and charged. Now there are legal fees that may or may not be affordable.
Seriously, at what point you defend your home? |

Youtube is full of vids from around the country of COPs being plain ole bullies when they could have just walked away. Instead they HAVE to win the pissing match and it ends up being a viral video. Seems like once a month there's a story in the media about police brutality. This kind of shit is why there has been a huge increase of normal everyday citizens losing respect for law enforcement. 30 years ago I had the opinion that if you don't like COPs you must be a criminal. Now I have to complete opposite view. Too many COPs and just bullies who can't control themselves when their ego is challenged and there are too many "good" officers who don't rein in the bad ones before they do something like this clown in the "I own this house" video. I guarantee you this asshole has bullied people before and other officers were on scene and did nothing. What is dangerous is, in that population of people who have lost respect for law enforcement is a small minority of mentally unstable fucknuts that will walk right up to a COP and shoot him in the head. It just happened here in Dallas a week or two ago. Simply Google "police officer ambushed" and get comfortable, you'll be reading for a while. "The COP doth protest too much, methinks", Every time I see you post this the first thing that comes to mind is that you are trying to convince Yourself not us. Roy View Quote He doesn’t speak for Alabama. Maybe an Alabama 30 years ago. But not now. Some still try to cling to their ego. A time before body cams. A time before general population awakening. A time when violating rights was a common theme. Some of the old heads just can’t let that shit go. JBT are gonna JBT. They are in all States. They are in all sect of Government. You feed from the gov trough long enough, you defend the one who fills it. You come up with BS polls to meet your needs. You kiss the boot. You waddle around with your doughnut stained lips catering to your master. At any cost. You make tongue in cheek jokes about rich folks loving their JBT. It’s nothing to be proud of. But it’s just a sad reality that old heads of the Gov Wallace era mindset, still carry a badge. Slowly retiring, stroking out, and being exposed, these JBT are being cast out one way or the other. The good ole boy system, is slowly eroding away. With the advent of hi res body worn cameras, JBT are being found out and held accountable. I only hope these types can correct their path. Steer the rudder in the right direction. Before they ruin their lives and take it out on their wives or boyfriends, do the right thing. In regards to the safety glass wearing JBT, man handling a woman at her home, blocking her doorway, they always act like in the moment, like there’s not a capable male in their life to set the scale to balance. Ego takes over. Then they end up on one of lackluster, Long Island Audit, or Lawyerups, vids. It’s just too easy. Even though the camera is running, JBT are smarter than the internet. It literally takes a judge taking their nuts in their hand to get them to realize that they are not above the law. Slowly, the system is correcting itself. The pendulum has taken the swing back. Hopefully in a righteous direction. |

Quoted: The officer in the second case is stringing out the court dates in his felony battery case. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: I have seen two instances of other cops intervening. In one they arrested the officer in question. In the other the sergeant who was blatantly in the wrong grabbed the young female officer that was trying to stop him by the throat while other officers watched. The officer in the second case is stringing out the court dates in his felony battery case. The point is that the other cops observing said felony didn't do anything at the time. |
