As someone else said, only socialists, commies and idiots would disagree with what the president was saying tonight. Trump was clearly speaking for the majority of the country tonight. And if CBS is saying the approval of Trump's comments is in the mid 70s range, I'd love to see the actual numbers, as they are probably in the 90% range. And those poll numbers are bound to scare the dems just a bit, maybe even enough to start considering funding the wall.

Trump needs to stay on message. When he does, he absolutely kills the democrats. He is on the right side of the issues. He needs to stop allowing petty squabbling from distracting him from the business at hand while taking his message directly to the people. There's a reason why Trump is so great at rally type events, or the SOTU address tonight. The guy connects with the average person in a way that the dems in their own little make believe fantasy world will never be able to do. Trump needs to settle in, regain his focus and attack with the level of energy he is capable of bringing to the fight.

That was an EXCELLENT speech. Started slow and soft, but build up excellently.

Reagan would have been proud of how Trump handled the White Dress Brigade, making jokes with them and getting them to stand and even laugh. That capacity destroys the oppositions cohesion.
