This was a stunning SOTU. Trump brilliantly restated his "America First" thesis which got him elected.
At the same time this was a very moderate "unity speech" and it speaks volumes that the left is so opposed to its message. My favorite line was "America will NEVER BE a socialist country."

I thought it was interesting that Donald Trump pointed out how the majority of new jobs in the country went to females.
The Klanswomen were so full of hatred that they wanted to resist even acknowledging that. In the end they were overcome by how proud they are of themselves, but they really had to overcome the hatred and bigotry that lives in their hearts. |

Buzz Aldrin wasn't looking so good.
Great to see him getting recognition from the President though. I am ashamed of our media bashing the SOTU this morning, there was nothing but good that came out of that address. Instead they are trying to pick fly shit out of pepper and making statements that nobody watched it and it had no substance. WTF, did they not hear the unemployment figures and the state of the economy ?

Stephen Miller wrote this SOTU speech and also the '18 SOTU (which was also amazing and even had many liberals admitting it was one of the best ever). Miller also writes a lot of the rally material. CBS says Miller started three weeks ago, Trump and his inner circle made tweaks, then Trump practiced it for several days.
Miller's only 33, been a politically active hard right conservative since he was a freshman in high school. Miller went to Duke where he wrote a fiercely conservative column for the school paper and appeared on TV and radio as practically the only public voice initially defending the Duke lacrosse team when the prototypical anti-white men social justice lynch mob instantly ganged up on them following a false rape accusation, which led to charges which were followed by appalling police and prosecutorial misconduct when the case fell apart after defense attorneys dug up exonerating eyewitness and electronic evidence. This got him noticed and hired as press secretary by Congressmen Michelle Bachmann and John Shadegg, which got him hired by Jeff Sessions, which got him hired by the Trump 2016 presidential campaign. Liberals finally noticed him a little while back and have been campaigning to get him fired for... whatever. Literally Hitler!... despite being Jewish. His Yiddish-only speaking Grandfather escaped Russian pogroms to bring the family to the US in the early 1900's. Rock solid hard right America-fuck-yeah! patriot since before he could shave, ballsy as hell, easily the best hiring decision Trump has ever made IMO. As long as Miller is influential I am not concerned about Trump. Keep an eye on Miller.

Maybe it’s just not possible, or it’s not how we’re wired. But I see too much conservative media this morning obsessed with reacting to hostile media most of America has already tuned out and turned on. As opposed to taking Trump’s unifying SOTU themes to those Americans.

Their numbers prove it’s only 31% that are raped, not trumps lie of 33%. They’ve got him now! It’s not nearly as bad as trump says. 31% is ok and not dangerous.
