Asked if Rodgers comes back for the 2023 season, if he really is willing to sit for yet another year, Love replied, "That's something me and my agent will talk about. We'll figure that out."

Quoted: It is definitely a failure on all ends. On the officials, on the independent concussion spotters, and on the Patriots themselves. "Player safety" only truly matters when everyone cares about it. I appreciate Agoholor trying to do something, but there's a simpler method, just walk over to Parker and don't let him line up. Sit him down. Get a stoppage whistle. Don't let the team get on the line like that. Of course easier said than done, especially when everyone is in a hurry up like that and your instinct is just to line up. But it's something that has to be worked on from the player standpoint. 83 most valuable North American sports franchises (per Sportico). Not sure why they chose to display 83... My guess is because #83 is the final NBA team. IMG Link
All 32 NFL teams are in the top 50. Dallas Cowboys #1 and only NFL team in the top 5, but NFL takes 5 of the top 10 spots. NFL takes 13 of the top 20 (4 MLB, 3 NBA). California and New York teams make up 7 of the top 10. Only 5 MLB teams are worth more than the least valuable NFL team (Bengals). 13 NBA teams are worth more than the least valuable NFL team. Only 3 NHL teams in the top 83, highest is #66 (Toronto). The most valuable NHL team is worth 25% less than the least valuable NFL team. Only 18 of the 30 MLB teams are worth more than the least valuable NBA team (Pelicans). All 32 NFL teams combine to be valued at $132.50B ($4.14B avg) All 30 NBA teams combine to be valued at $90.08B ($3.00B avg) |

Quoted: Did mariota get benched and say fuck it and leave the facility ??? View Quote Not sure exactly what happened but he is out for the season now, he announced he was having surgery on his knee. Oddly enough it had been determined not that big of an issue and he was cleared to play. Either he got pissed for getting benched and made the decision to screw the Falcons or it got worse. Either way the Falcons had to secure another backup QB, Logan Woodside from the Titan's practice squad. |

"According to The Athletic, Smith informed Mariota that Ridder would be starting at quarterback on Thursday morning. Friday, the Falcons learned that Mariota planned to step away from the team." Not a good look for Mariota but I'll withhold judgement until the whole story comes out. He has a newborn which may have factored in to his decision to not hang around to be the backup, still a shitty move especially if it was based on pride. |

Without looking it up to confirm, one of the responses says the Dolphins game this weekend was the first game of the season in which the Chargers WR1, WR2 and WR3 all played together. |

Dolphins HC Mike McDaniel says some Dolphins players were disregarding their assignments/scheme in an attempt to make plays on Sunday vs the Chargers. McDaniel said he saw players adjusting routes, attacking a read that wasn't primary in the progression, guys trying to "engulf" a defender at the expense of blocking techniques and jumping the gaps.
"You don't do that in 11-on-11 football with any sort of consistency or success." "It wasn't just one player. It wasn't one position. It wasn't one side of the ball. So to me that's very telling of there's a lot of guys pressing." "To me that's where people are made or broken this league. It's how you respond to stuff." |
