All of 32 teams the Bengals EASILY have the best two remaining games in terms of quality and importance.

Seems like an absurd thing for NFL players to be forced to deal with.  Either allow them to park in a parking garage or maybe their owner can spend our equivalent of $5 and hire some people to clear the snow for his players before they arrive.

If not for convenience then do it to lower the risk of an off-the-field injury to a player a few weeks before the playoffs.

I’m not sure what that has to do with an owner with a net worth of $6.7B not wanting to spend under $10k to make life easier on his players and reducing the risk of a freak off-the-field injury a few weeks from the postseason, but okay.

Response to your first post. And have you ever seen a parking garage in the winter? Guessing not.

With the Chiefs win over the Seahawks, Mahomes has now logged wins against all 31 possible opponents except for one: The Minnesota Vikings.

Bring on the Super Bowl IV rematch.

Do you honestly believe if the Bills offered $1,000 per person they couldn’t find a team of people willing to clear the snow from the players’ vehicles before they arrived home from Chicago?   Especially if they said it was for the Buffalo Bills players.

I was thinking about that...some people get weird when you touch their stuff. How do you clear off 5' of snow on a car/SUV roof without damaging/scratching the top or break something like a rack or antenna. I can just hear the players blaming someone for damaging the bling on their toys.

Yes, we would do things for the team. But when the towns are literally going without any kind of emergency services,  there comes a point where we have to put the team second. And no amount of money will change that.

I think this is a little over dramatic. I think at this point Tua has done enough to retain his starting role in 2023, it's not like the Dolphins have better options sitting in the closet. Some places are suggesting the Fins go after Jimmy G or even Geno Smith... That's non-sense. I think Jimmy G is an underrated quarterback, but at the same time, he is at best a lateral movement in this case.

The Fins have Tua for one more year at a cash cost of $4.7M. At this point, I think they will ride it out.

Most of us Texans are from other places. I spent 18 years up north myself. Still have family there. I have only shoveled snow a handful of times here.

I like the stat in baseball, Wins Above Replacement--a cursory search shows Tua pretty far down the list, interesting to note the top 3 QBs are all in the AFC. Either way $5M is cheap.

The 78 blizzard hit hard in East Central Indiana where we lived at the time. I had to dig out from a window to get to where we started to shovel. Dad said no to opening any doors at the time. The heater vent was on the chimney which was still a few feet from being covered. That was the only snow over 10 inches or so that we got in Indiana. Northern OH was a different animal. I was very young there. Still remember the snow though.

I was pretty confident in the direction the wind was blowing a few months ago when Broncos fans were chanting the play clock count because Hackjob and Wilson kept losing timeouts and getting delay of game penalties.

The 2023 first round pick the Broncos are sending the Seahawks is currently #3 overall.

Based on remaining schedule there is a decent chance it could end up #2 overall with a long shot chance of even being #1 overall.

Emphasis on long term.

What HC candidate is signing up for the situation Denver is in right now?

The more you think about it, the worse it gets...

They have no draft capital.
The QB is a reclamation project at best.
The QB can't be cut for cap savings until something like 2025.
The QB seems to be actively hated by the OL and the WRs.

I mean... if Denver wants to pay me $5M-10M to stand on the sidelines, look like a moron, and lose games, I could probably be persuaded, but an actual HC candidate with career aspirations?  Nope. No way.

We get ice here as well...every winter.  How many times did you deal with multiple feet of snow with 60+ mph winds and negative temps before the wind chill was even factored in?  This isn't a normal winter storm.  People are without power and the emergency services are even shut down.

We get ice here as well...every winter.  How many times did you deal with multiple feet of snow with 60+ mph winds and negative temps before the wind chill was even factored in?  This isn't a normal winter storm.  People are without power and the emergency services are even shut down.

If I'm reading correctly they are up to around 25 dead in the Buffalo area. Police cars, fire trucks, and plows were abandoned in the middle of the road.

I'm guessing everyone had real nice Christmas dinners/evenings, since no one said a single word during the Bucs game. I don't get how this team can look so dog shit/mediocre for 3 quarters and then explode late in the 4th seemingly week after week. I just don't get it. I know the offensive line is decimated, the run game sucks ass. But how are they able to turn it on so frequently in the 4th but can't get right in the first 3 quarters?... Anyways, here's some Brady/Bucs stats, then some regular Monday stats.
  • Brady somehow gets his 57th career game winning drive, extending his NFL record.
  • Brady has tied Drew Brees for most career overtime wins (reg+post) at 14.
  • Brady needs 42 completions and 56 attempts in the last 2 games to break both the NFL single season records.
  • Brady has 671 pass attempts in 15 games. 45 per game. At age 45.
  • Brady now has a winning record against 30 of the 32 NFL teams. He has a 0.500 record against the remaining two (49ers and Broncos). He had a 0.500 record vs the Cardinals before last night.
  • The Bucs 7 victories have all had offensive scores of 21 or less. No team has ever made the playoffs without scoring more than 21 points in ANY win during the regular season
  • Fournette posted on Twitter he has been playing with a Lisfranc injury in his foot.

  • DeShaun Watson among 44 QB's with 100+ passes this season. PFF grade 38th, Comp% 32nd, Passer Rating 44th, YPA 43rd. The last 4 games he has played in has been the worst 4 game stretch of his career. It includes the 2 lowest passer rating performances of his career.
  • The Browns have scored just 3 offensive TDs in 4 games with Watson. The Browns have secured their 2nd consecutive losing season after making the playoffs in 2020.
  • Marcus Jones now has a receiving TD, punt return TD and INT return TD as a rookie. The only other player in the SB era to score a 40+ yd TD each of those ways in their entire career is Deion Sanders.
  • Marcus Jones is the first player with a punt return TD, receiving TD and defensive TD in the same season since Julian Edelman in 2012.
  • Kevin Stefanski is the 6th coach to follow up an AP Coach of the Year Award with consecutive losing seasons.
  • The Packers need to beat both the Vikings and the Lions to make the playoffs. They have already lost to both teams once this season. Rodgers has only been swept by a divisional rival ONCE his entire career (2009). Chance he is swept twice this season.
  • The Packers had a 3% playoff chance after week 12, it was up to 17% pre-game, and is now 37% post-game.
  • Matt LaFleur is 15-0 in December with the Packers.
  • The 12-3 Vikings are currently 3 point underdogs vs the 7-8 Packers next week.
  • Kirk Cousins has been hit 125 times this year. That is the most hits any QB has taken through 15 games since 2000 (as far back as TruMediaSports records).
  • Kirk Cousins has recorded 25+ passing TDs in 8 straight seasons. He is the 5th QB to do so, joins Manning, Brees, Rivers and Brady.
  • The Vikings have now won 11 games by 8 or fewer points, the most in a single season in NFL history.
  • Kirk Cousins has tied Matt Stafford (2016) for the most game winning drives/4th quarter comebacks in a single season (8).
  • There has been five 60+ yard field goals this season. 4 of them have involved the Vikings.
  • Vikings WR Justin Jefferson now has 24 career 100-yard receiving games. That's the most 100-yard games by any player in NFL history through his first four seasons. Jefferson is still in his third season.
  • Jefferson now holds the Vikings franchise record for receiving yards and receptions in a single season.
  • Four NFC teams have clinched playoff appearances (Eagles, Vikings, 49ers, Cowboys). The Giants and Bucs can clinch next week. The Commanders currently sit in the 7th spot, which would mean the entire NFC East is currently in the post season.
  • If the season ended today, every team with a winning record would be in the playoffs alongside two losing teams.
  • The combined playoff record of currently projected NFC playoff QBs (excluding Tom Brady) is just 2-8.
  • It's still possible for the NFC South divisional winner to be 7-10 (unlikely, but possible).
  • With Trace McSorely's end of regulation hail mary being intercepted, Baker Mayfield was the only quarterback who started on Christmas that didn't throw an interception.
  • Baker Mayfield now has the 2nd highest single game comp% in Rams history (behind Kurt Warner).
  • The Rams 37-point victory was the largest by any team on Christmas Day in NFL history. They join the Saints (2020) as the only teams to record a 50-point game on the holiday.
  • Baker had just 4 incompletions. The Broncos had 4 interceptions.
  • Russell Wilson recorded a QBR of 3.5. The lowest of his career.
  • This is the first time in his career, that Russell Wilson has trailed by 20+ points in back-to-back starts.
  • If Russell Wilson is sacked 4 times in the remaining 2 games, he will set a new career high for sacks while facing the lowest pressured rate of his entire career.
  • The Broncos need to score 48 combined points over their final 2 games to not be the lowest scoring Broncos team of all time (PPG).
  • The Broncos have missed the playoffs in 7 straight seasons since winning Super Bowl 50, the longest drought in NFL history by a team immediately following a Super Bowl win.
  • The Raiders have now lost 5 games this season in which they had a halftime lead. In the 2nd half of those games, Derek Carr is just 45% for a total of 261 yards, 5 INTs and just 1 touchdown scoring drive.
  • Sam Darnold has now gone 4 straight games without a turnover. The longest stretch of his career.
  • With interceptions in 3 consecutive drives in the 4th quarter, Tua Tagovailoa is the first Dolphins QB to throw 3 interceptions in the 4th quarter since Chad Henne in 2009.
  • Tua is the first QB to throw 3 INTs in the 4th quarter of a 1 score game since Sam Darnold did it in a 13-6 loss to the Dolphins in 2018.
  • Tua and Jameis Winston are the only quarterbacks to throw 3 fourth quarter INTs in a game this season.
  • The Dolphins went winless in December for the first time since 1993.
  • 49ers Brock Purdy has as many TD passes of 25+ yards this season as Patrick Mahomes has (6).
  • Brock Purdy is the first QB in 49ers history to win each of his first three career starts.
  • Complete list of every QB in NFL history with a 110+ Passer Rating in each of their first 3 starts: Brock Purdy.
  • The 49ers defense has yet to allow a single rusher to reach 60 yards on them this season. Brian Robinson had 58 Saturday.
  • Malik Willis has failed to throw for over 100 yards in his first 3 starts.
  • On Thanksgiving, the Titans were 7-3 and the Jaguars were 3-7. They're now both 7-8, tied atop the AFC South with a Week 18 game for the division looming.
  • Pro Bowl QB Josh Allen leads the league in turnovers (tied at 18 with M. Ryan). No Pro Bowl QB has done that since NYJ QB Brett Favre in 2008.
  • Josh Allen has now thrown 8 interceptions in opponent territory, tied for the most in the NFL this season with Kirk Cousins. Allen threw 7 Int in opponent territory in the previous 3 seasons combined (2019-21).
  • The Bills have notched six non-Sunday wins this season. That is the most since the 1962 Boston Patriots.
  • There will only be one game between teams with a winning record in week 17 (Bills Bengals). This will be only the 2nd time since the 1970 merger that there is just a single game between winning teams within the final 2 weeks of a season.
  • Last week the Panthers ran the ball 16 times for 21 total yards. This week the Panthers had 240 yards rushing in the 1st HALF. The most in the 1st half by any team since 2006.
  • Dak Prescott went 24-for-24 for 300 yards when Eagles played zone. Eagles defense allowed points (4 TDs, 4 FGs) on 8 of 10 Cowboys possessions. Eagles' 2nd-worst defensive performance of the season, based on EPA per drive.
  • The Bengals have gone undefeated in November and December for the first time in franchise history.
  • Lead changing 60+ yard field goals, in the final 2 minutes of a game, since 2016: Against the Giants 3/3, against all other teams 2/15.
  • There are 5 teams still mathematically in contention for the 1st overall draft pick: 1. Texans: 2-12-1, Bears: 3-12, Broncos: 4-11 (owed to Seahawks), Cardinals: 4-10, Colts: 4-9-1.
Also... The Steelers Ravens game is flexing to Sunday Night Football next week and the Chargers Rams game is out. This will officially make it so neither of the Super Bowl teams played a single Sunday Night Football game this season.

Ya, it's pretty serious.  I was a little kid during the 70's storms so I don't remember them well.  I do remember we lived on a farm, we didn't own a farm my parents rented a house on a farm.  We were stuck there and everything was shut down.  Different ball game then living in a dense populated area with everything shut down.  My point isn't that people have or have not dealt with snow in their lives it's just that the football players cars aren't the biggest priority during this generational storm.  I have a lot of negative things to say about Buffalo...lol...but I will not tell them how to deal with snow.

Do you honestly believe if the Bills offered $1,000 per person they couldn’t find a team of people willing to clear the snow from the players’ vehicles before they arrived home from Chicago?   Especially if they said it was for the Buffalo Bills players.

And assume liability for 50-100 random people going out in a blizzard to clean off millionaire’s cars?

Getting fired as a first year coach because the overpaid terrible QB can't hit the broadside of a barn has to sting. Broncos are going to be scraping the bottom of the barrel for a coach that wants to come into that shit show.

NH fired as HC for the Broncos...

If you take into account everything (including long term implications) a case could be made that the 2022 Broncos have had the most disastrous season an NFL team has had in decades.
