I’ve said it before: Kaepernick does NOT want a job.  He’s not even good enough to be a 3rd strong QB (and I think deep down he knows that) and yet there are people delusional enough to claim he could step in and instantly be a top 15 QB.  If he plays and shits the bed those claims look even more ridiculous.

Wanna bet they offer him a job but ‘it’s beneath him for a player of that caliber?’

Now...tin foil time...

What if other players get together to ensure Kap doesn't look terrible? Give him enough "gimmies" that his stat sheet looks alright, just because they're black & they don't want to fuck that all up.

That would be nuts, but I know it won't happen.

Ehh. That would take one hell of a lot of collusion. And giving up long bomb TDs isn't a great way to stay employed as a defensive player.

This season will be total crap anyway and when it's proven he can't play for shit, we should be done with him forever.  No more insane "top 15 Qb" talk.  Ever again

He hasn't been on a fucking team in more than 5 calendar years.
And his last year in the league he wasn't even the named starter to begin the season and he went 1-10...

I think people tend to forget that his last two seasons Kaep was injured half the time and when he was healthy he was sub 60% completion percentage with a 3-16 overall record.

Played corner and was a return man for 4 seasons with Boise State. He was still listed as corner but was mostly just a return man/special teamer for the Falcons last year (73% of ST snaps, 12% of defensive snaps).

He has had a Nike deal since he left the league. It is good until 2028. Includes his own apparel line. Worth "millions per year" with royalties on top. He also had $43.5M in career earnings before he was done.

I'm sure he is doing just fine.

"Activist" stuff.

I know he did some show on Netflix about how NFL players are treated like slaves.  "Slaves" that make a minimum of $660,000 a season.

as far as I know, he's still sponsored by Beats by Dre, McDonald's, Nike and I'm sure others.

also, if he's like most other BLM 'Activists' out there, he's making a pretty penny off his grifting causes.

Jason Stewart, quarterback of the Zappers in the Fan Controlled Football league, celebrated a touchdown pass by lighting a joint and smoking it on the field. He then went on to throw three more touchdowns in the game.

He was then cut for breaking the FCF league rule which states marijuana is not permitted at the game site or league hotel.

FCF statement: "Jason Stewart was cut from the Zappers for violating league policy. While the FCF fully supports player's responsible use of cannabis, unfortunately it is still illegal in the state of Georgia and is banned by our venue and hotel property partners - so our policy of not allowing smoking at these sites is well known by all of our players."

Twitter Video

"First QB to ever smoke TREE after a TD in a pro game," Stewart wrote in an Instagram post for his 110,000 followers.

"History made!" he wrote in a separate post. "At some point we have to have the conversation about marijuana. It's ok for athletes to chug a beer at a sporting event, but they get kicked out of league for smoking a plant. I'm ok with being the sacrifice to raise awareness! When I played at Memphis they had me on hydrocodone for a lot of my injuries. I couldn’t function or play, then I tapped into KUSH! I felt better, slept better, ate better, had different creativity..I'm not saying marijuana is right for everyone. But [there] are people in this world that use it as a medicine. Do some research on why it was even outlawed in the first place! All glory 2 God! I smoke Kush and LOVE GOD! Hate me or love me! I'm 1 of 1!"

This is probably top-5 for the most direct I've ever seen him publicly commenting about a player, and this is as spicy as he gets. This comment is a lot coming from him.

Why every state doesn't legalize sports gambling and marijuana is beyond idiocy.  Theses are things people are going to do regardless of their legality and they can generate BILLIONS in tax revenue.

The only argument I can see against legalizing marijuana is that it could lead to legalizing hard drugs.

Shady does has a point though.  A coach in his late 40's/early 50's being the OC of the highest scoring offense in the NFL the past 4 years, going to the Conference Championship every season, going to the Super Bowl twice, and he hasn't gotten an offer to be a HC?

I would still put the biggest question mark on his abilities on the fact that he isn't the play caller. As you said, he's the OC of a high flying, high scoring offense, led by Pat Mahomes with a game plan and plays called by Andy Reid. The last time he was the play caller of an offense was a full decade ago at Colorado. They went 4-21 in the two seasons he was there. So... What would you say it is you do here?

And we all know he was at the end....but we can also see EB isn't getting hired despite all the interviews & media hype.

I'm guessing it isn't because he's black.

I've been listening to Andy Reid's flavor of coach speak for almost a decade.

This is probably top-5 for the most direct I've ever seen him publicly commenting about a player, and this is as spicy as he gets. This comment is a lot coming from him.

The Steelers would totally hire him if Tomlin retired.

I thought their playoff loss was because of his play calling.

As far as I'm aware, and everything I've heard, it is Andy's playbook and he calls the plays.

Kaepernick as a "Rooney" hire quarterback coach ?

Good idea. The Steelers like to hire people based on their skin tone.  Aren’t they proposing an expansion of the Rooney rule?

LoL!! Snyder can't win. As long as he's the owner he's not going to get any sweetheart deals for stadium money.

What is he actually doing for money?
I can't image him still living off money from his NFL time.

"The door is open..." to being a backup quarterback for league minimum... Kaep ain't taking that deal. He just wanted the attention. Again.

Nike.  He’d be taking a pay cut if he joined the nfl    I think he does this “I wanna play” bullshit every few years to keep the social justice part of his Nike contract up to date
I’ll be surprised  if he actually plays  for a team
