Quoted: lol umm actual Cowboys fans have been there for a while. I'll start crowing AFTER the boys win another super bowl. Till then, I just don't trust them. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Or maybe everyone just needs to lower their expectations with the Cowboys until they actually accomplish something in the playoffs. I'll start crowing AFTER the boys win another super bowl. Till then, I just don't trust them. TBH, I don’t get why longtime Cowboys fans are even surprised anymore. For me, it’d be like someone rewatching, I have no idea why, Game of Thrones. No matter how great the quality of the early-mid seasons might be, you know at the end it turns into a total irredeemable shitshow. So why, when the inevitable happens, would you be shocked by it? Why would you expect a different result? |

Quoted: I disagree that Dallas is one of the best jobs available, assuming it becomes available. Frankly, IMO it's the worst run franchise in the NFC. Maybe Carolina is as bad. Their drafting/talent evaluation is as good as any in the league. Texas is a income tax free state. The Cowboys training facilities are second to none. Yet, they can't win in the post season? After changing how many coaches under Jerry, still no post season success. Wonder what the common denominator is? View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: I think that would be a crap choice. Quinn has an underwhelming history as a HC, the Dallas job is one of the best available, and there are much better candidates available. Also, it seems crazy to reward Quinn with a roundabout promotion after the way his defense played yesterday. I disagree that Dallas is one of the best jobs available, assuming it becomes available. Sure, but the Cowboys have only had 5 HCs this century, and of those, 4 were in the job for at least 4 seasons and left with a winning record. That's a very stable and desirable job compared the rest of the NFL, at least where vacancies exist. I'm sure it's fun and convenient to blame Jerry, and Jerry has his share of issues, but is there an element of yesterday's implosion that we can look at and say "Jerry did this?" Because I do not believe that to be the case. Sustained mediocrity is very much an issue in the NFL. It takes the right combination of QB, offensive support, defense, and luck to get through, and some teams just get stuck there for a while. |

Tweets about the Bills official shuttle bus having all the passengers get off because walking is quicker. Shots of people just parking in the snow in people's front lawns in the surrounding area. Shovel brigade taking snow from the row down the aisle and tossing it over the railing: Twitter
Nothing like working up a real good sweat shoveling for an hour before the game starts. Then you can just sit in your damp freezing clothes for the next few hours. Good times. Edit: Press box announcement, current real temp is 4 degrees. Winds at 13mph. Wind chill calculator says that feels like aprox -13 degrees. |

Respect to any fans that're die-hard enough to attend this game. Both Bills and Steelers fans. Maybe as a teenager I'd be dumb enough.

Enjoy your off season and bless your heart. It’s like what The Poster Formerly Known as Bass already pointed out: you can’t comprehend the difference between a Cowboys fan talking about the Cowboys and you, a Cowboys-hater, making WAY more posts about the Cowboys than you do about your own team. While I can certainly understand how others here find your presence in this thread to be without value, I personally enjoy your random reminders that the Cowboys continue to live rent-free in your head. |

Quoted: It's also 10 minutes before kickoff and there are traffic jams around the stadium. Oh, as far as a job I bet it's a blast. However, if you are a HC that wants to compete for a Super Bowl championship, it's the worst job in the NFC, except for Carolina maybe. Fuck I would take the job in a heartbeat. Oh yeah Jerry you are so smart. Lol. But an actual, NFL quality coach? Not a chance. And what we saw last night was simply the Dallas Cowboys way. As installed by the head man and GM, Jerry Jones. No discipline. Frankly not a lot of effort, especially from the defensive side. Again, lots here have evidently never been in the military. Getting a new CO or 1st Sgt can take your unit to the next level, or turn it into a bag of stinking shit. One man, at the top. Sets the tone for the entire organization. For better or worse, that's what Jerry has done. |
