I make a good effort to either send or open a gift from everyone on my friend list every day. It gets really complicated now that the friend list exceeds the number of gifts I can open in a day, plus I try to watch where the gifts are from and open the far away ones when I have an egg space available, and the gifts from stops near my home only go to people i’m IRL friends with. But I try! |

I'm more likely to send gifts to my distant friends (so they have a chance to get an egg with a lot of km on it to trade and because they don't see me in town) and battle or trade with the ones closer to home if I have limited gifts. And opening gifts counts too, so if all else fails, open their gifts. |

I wish they would let you send friend requests to people using their username instead of their trainer code.
There are people I see in the local gyms all the time that I would love to send friend requests to, but there's no way to contact them or find out what their trainer code is. |

Just a heads-up.
I pre-walked 2 Eeevees 5k each in anticipation of pages 4 and 5 of "A Ripple In Time", hoping that it would count towards the 10k we need to walk an Eevee for each of those tasks. It doesn't seem to count, I just got to page 4 and while walking one of them the buddy screen shows 5k walked but the task page still shows 0. BTW the "Pokemon Appears" reward after completing page 3 is an Eevee. Mine was only a CP402.
