I grew up in the Chicagoland area. I'm spoiled. There was one great place here. He was from the Chicago area and had his meats and cheeses brought down from IL and WI. Was quite amazing as were his bread sticks. Sadly, it went out of business. |

ETA: on a serious note, there was a little spot on Northfield Rd. in Northfield called Romito's that made a great pizza and antipasto. Cinnamon in the sauce I think, just a touch. Good stuff. |

Pretty sure you can get any style here.
In redneck/heroin central (Chillicothe) they now do coal oven fired pizza. Everyone I talk to says it's amazing. Another place has some of the best pizza I've ever eaten called Jack's. It's almost like a pizza on top of a breadstick - Thin, extremely full of air so that it's almost like a giant cracker, very crispy toppings. It was fantastic when I had it. |
