In 2020 I was 3 weeks post ankle surgery. We had 5 pieces of firewood and a generator with a broken pull cord.
The fact that I am fully prepared for this means it will be a nothing burger |

Probably Liberals from other states who came here & then found out they could not handle: Texans with Guns (Constitutional Carry!) Texans with BBQ (so gross to vegetarians!) Texans voting Red (Solid Red State Baby!) Texas not having Legal Weed -  All reasons for every single damn dirty democrat & liberal in Texas to pull up & move to Colorado. Hell, Governor Abbott would most likely even Bus them to Downtown Denver ... just to be friendly & help out in the Texas Way!! Bigger_Hammer

temps falling here about 1° per hour
-2° heading down to -9° allegedly It'll be colder than that here by 3AM I'm betting...be needing two more tubs of firewood for tonight and tomorrow morning I'd go down to Nacogdoches and stay with my sister but don't think I'll gain that much warmth...should go see my buddy down in Palm Bay, FL instead probably. |

I sat outside for about 90 minutes having a cigar and breakfast in 30F temps this morning. Hotel clerk looked at me like I was an alien when I came inside.
