Best thing I ever did, was rip out all of my carpet and go hardwood and tile everywhere. Even the bedrooms and closets.
None of us in the family wear shoes inside, but - and this is easier because I don't have carpet - I don't ask guests to take theirs off. If they accidentally track a little dirt in, it's easy enough to clean up later, after they've left. No worries. I don't really mind when somebody asks me to take mine off in their home, but for those of you who do this - be a bro, and provide a nice seating area or something right by the door, so that it's easy to take them on and off. This is especially important if I'm at your house all day, for a BBQ or something. Make it easy for me, if I'm going to be in and out your house and backyard all day. |

Agreed....
I have shoe racks literally at each door/entrance to the home. |

ARF - Feet are gross.
Also ARF - Take your shoes off, and rub your nasty feet all over my floors. |

If I've ever been in someone's house where they wore shoes indoors, I don't remember it.
I have started wearing slippers lately, but just because it helps a bit with my neuropathy. |

Take off my shoes, ask my quests to remove shoes? Why? So Consuela can clean less? LoLz.

I put my shoes on at 9am and don’t take them off until 9pm and I’m home most of those hours.

I don't really think about it
Most of the time shoes are off, but if I'm doing shit inside or outside and going back and forth they're staying on. Now if I am in the city probably walking through some water shot through with hpv and God knows what else, shoes come off immediately when I get back |

What if I don’t wear shoes outside & then come in the house in my bare feet?
