In for updates. We should not be surprised when agents of the state act in the interest of the state. Individual liberty and the exercise of rights against government are rare in human history. Tyranny is the norm.

Canada is a European country with a significant French attitude toward others. The US is not that way, I hope, yet. During WWII, the French police wholeheartedly cooperated with the round up of Jews logistically using their data base on the names and addresses of all Jews.
European police in others countries did the same. A few did not cooperate, i.e. the Danes. The Canadian cops have shown their true colors and will do anything to cooperate to keep their jobs. |

Hopefully, in minecraft, someone has parked and disabled trucks in front of all the vehicle entrances to all the police buildings. You can get in and out, but you aren't driving. Come on now quit falling for the BS. Those Ottawa cops are just the few bad ones that are doing what their masters tell them too. I'm sure the good ones are on our side and would refuse to enforce tyranny on the citizens. Someone should post videos of the Good Ottawa cops that are supporting the peaceful protesters with getting their voices heard.

THE FIRE DEPARTMENT IS HELPING THE POLICE TAKE THE FUEL AND PROPANE!! Wow! The FD has always been able to say that everyone loved them. Wow.

Shocker.
However all they are really accomplishing is making them a martyr. |

Sounds terrifying!
“It should have ended days ago, there’s no question about that," the mayor continued. "The nerves of the residents, particularly in the downtown core, are frayed beyond belief. They are suffering, and the protesters do not seem to have any understanding of how insensitive they are, blaring horns and sirens and fireworks, and turning it into a party. … Bringing in bouncy castles and saunas and hot tubs is the height of irresponsibility.” View Quote You want you city back? Its simple...dispense with all the bullshit tyranny. It's not simple anymore. The government drew their line in the sand, and now it's all about who quits first. If the government gives in, then the people will believe that they have the power. The government can never allow that to happen. |

Gotta go green, comrade. It’s good for the environment.
But seriously, that’s why electric is being pushed so hard. Easier to control. Easier to shutoff that pesky freedom of movement. |

Are the dept heads in on it? I'm trying to figure out why they don't use these good cops to help their cause. Oh well, I'm just glad that most cops are in the profession for all the right reasons. |

Since government wants to seize fuel and heat, perhaps the truckers should stop delivering food, fuel and stuff to the stores.
That's right, it can work both ways. Truckers should stop delivering the supplies to everyone else for a while and wait and see what happens next. Gas station owners could put "out of order signs" on all the pumps. Grocery store owners could "close for renovations and extensive cleaning" for a few weeks. It's not just on the truckers shoulders folks. But they're the ones with the balls big enough to put their necks on the line to do something about it. |

Mayor admits they're losing the battle, policies are getting more tyranical and questionably illegal, although I don't know intricacies of Canadian law. It's heating up.
There are other tidbits in there that are telling... like how they "need to be more nimble and proactive about preventing these things in the future." That means that for any subsequent protest, they're going to get a whole lot more tyranical a whole lot earlier in the process. Also... I don't recall seeing police mask their faces in the early days of the protest. Now that they're masking up (it looked like even the FD was masking), that never means they're getting ready to talk things out. |

You don't think the cops would confiscate food and heating oil/coal "for the good of the community"? I think the issue that us normal folk are having is, how do they select these only bad cops? Are there emails that go out to Sergeants that ask for the specific cops that would be willing to do something like this? Do they plan these kinds of things only when certain cops are scheduled to work? Is there some kind of unspoken understanding that these specific cops will do all of the dirty work? Or are we seeing that even "good cops" will always be willing to do bad things, if it is what they are ordered to do? I ponder similar questions in my head. I actually know a bunch of good cops. But that would be a different thread for me.
