Mandela is now the third foreigner to have the flag lowered for them. The first was Winston Churchill, one of the great defenders of western civilization, had an American mother, and was given honorary citizenship by Congress. The second was Pope John Paul, a great anti-communist. And now, Mandela. I don't care how anyone feels about what Mandela did for or to SA, there's no fucking way he deserved to be honored like this. I think Churchill, however, did.
