Seems to be pretty solid. I put one on a M92 with an Ultimak gas tube mount, no issues yet.

I got a brand new HoloSun HS403A for $123.99 shipped. Shitty part was they came on sale a day after I ordered a PA AMD for $152.54 shipped. Needless to say the PA got cancelled.
ETA The PA AMD wasn't ordered at PA. |

How do they compare to an aimpoint? How does a Ford escort compare to a Lamborghini? Not quite. Diminishing returns. If your life isn't on the line and you already have a few quality optics, getting 85% of the quality for 25% of the cost is worth it. In all honesty, I'd rather outfit 4 rifles with the ADS than one with a T1. Or one rifle with a case of ammo and 20 mags than one T1 and no ammo |

How do they compare to an aimpoint? View Quote I have three Aimpoints and three Advanced Micro Dots. Honestly, there's probably no difference to the casual user. The glass on the current MD-ADS is comparable to a T1, but not as good as a T2. Full disclosure, I had one micro dot that was DOA, and replaced immediately by PA. Since then I haven't had one issue with moderately heavy use. My home defense gun wears an Aimpoint, but if PA was all I could afford I wouldn't have any problems running it. |

Abuse the Lamborghini a little on a rough dirt road, and it will rip off some air splitters, fascias, and probably break. Who wants to work with tools that break when used hard. |

I just read the reviews and one reviewer mentioned worthless in bright sunlight. I removed my burris and flipped up the buis due to this very issue. Even if overcast and shooting on snow the dot would disappear. Any red dots made that would work in the conditions in my ao, or do I need something with an illuminated etched reticle?
