"Honda of Seattle" is kind of interesting (license plate frame).

I just got home from a trip to Seattle.  Had never been there before.  Super nice place, beautiful landscape, weather was awesome, and the food was even better, but holy shit were there a lot of hippies!  It didn't seem like a real "gun friendly" place, but I could be wrong.

There is some serious paranoia going on in here.

Do people with Apple stickers get followed home to have their computers stolen?
Do people with Mary Kay stickers get followed home to have their lipstick stolen?
Do people with truck nuts get followed home to have their balls stolen?

I've had my car scratched and dented without any stickers on it. NRA stickers don't raise any eyebrows around here anyway.

Didn't Big EasySnow say stickers on cars are like tattoos or something to that effect?  Yeah.

I see more than one or two stickers on a car and I question the owner.  And we all know a car covered with right- or left- wing stickers automatically paints the owner as a nutjob.

As for me I sport a BFL just because.  Make of it what you will.

This...some of yall with the "opsec" obsession Personally, my jeep is already non-stock and easily recognizable soooooo I'll add stickers as I wish. 99% of my stickers are on my laptop, safe, or pelican though and the jeep has like 6 (two gun related: statue of liberty w/ AR and magpul the rest are from parts on my jeep)

I agree. Being afraid of what will happen to you due to what stickers you have on your car is cowardly and stupid. Having said that I really enjoy seeing pro-gun stickers on cars and I think it does a lot for a cause to make people who are anti-gun have to question themselves if everyone they see or meet is pro-gun they might be willing to take another look at the issue. People WANT to like the same things as everyone else even if they dont actually care about it, people WANT to fit in. The democrats used this tactic with they gays they pretty much instilled the S.O.P. that if anyone doesn't immediately agree with the gay agenda you should ostracize them as much as possible until they agree with you. It's a weasel's tactic that only stupid people succumb to but it fucking works. A few years back you asked a crowd who agrees with the gay agenda and you might get 30% for 10% undecided and 60% against, ask that same crowd today and you will get 90%for 9% undecided and 1% against.

If the pro-gun crowd actually got together and everyone stopped fucking arguing over open-carry and we got some kind of global symbol that represented us to put on our vehicles I think it would really do a lot for us. Especially if you link it to being Patriotic or altruistic in some way.

I had a bfl on my car for years and my daughter was the only one who ever asked about it. Told her it was "a gang sign." She rolled her eyes and said "yeah. Whatever."

FUCKING Stupid Quote.

So a criminal is going to tail you through the city directly to your house at which point he is going to break in disregarding the fact that someone inside is armed, there may be cameras, vicious dogs, etc. All in an effort to secure possibly as little as 1-3 guns which on a good day MAY be worth 600.00 - 1500.00 dollars on the black market. There is a 99% chance the owner of the guns will immediately report you to the police and on the off chance they don't immediately catch you, you will have guns in your possession that have been reported stolen. now that you have taken all of these extremely HIGH risks which statistically have already lead to your death or incarceration you have to sell these stolen guns on the black market. So you need to find a buyer who is willing to buy stolen guns, willing to not report you to the police, and willing to pay a price that makes all of this worth your time, also who won't just kill you and take the guns or hold you at gun point and take the stolen guns from you. Keep in mind this whole time the vehicle you were driving is most likely compromised due to the fact that many eyewitnesses have seen it and its been video taped multiple times so you need to get a new vehicle at some point which at a bare minimum is going to cost you 2000.00 dollars. So lets say you get to this point and you get the new vehicle and trash the old vehicle all of which are extremely risky and time consuming procedures and you sell your 1500.00 dollars worth of guns you are now at a profit margin of -500.00 dollars, unless you landed a collectors house and were somehow able to get into a safe which most likely requires a 5000.00 dollar plasma cutter to get into (which you have no means to transport and you couldn't afford anyway) and you were able to sell a large enough amount of guns that you made a profit enough for all this to be worth it, you now have every law enforcement officer in a 1000 mile radius looking for you.

Get a brain MORAN, and loosen your tin foil hats.

Like I said before, I personally don't, but don't object to people who do.

That said, the knocking on people for OPSEC/PERSEC etc. is a little heavy-handed.  I when I lived in Delaware, several of my friends had their cars keyed.  Different times, different places.   The common factor?  NRA stickers on their cars.   Your environments and situations may vary, and while keying isn't stealing, it's still enough to support my not doing it.

The argument posted above about apple computers, et al. is silly.   Apple computers (just using this one as an example) don't evoke the ire of libs/leftists/pacifists/idiots the way guns do.  There isn't wave-after-wave of attempted legislation to 'disarm' people of Apple products.  Stealing an Apple laptop and mugging people with it is...unlikely.  You get my point.   Like it or not, 2A and firearms in general are very incendiary topics.  If you advertise the side you're on, cool.  You'll get no flack from me.  But for the rest of us, we're probably not paranoid, we're probably being careful.

My Kenpo teacher tells us all the time "The world doesn't know you know Kenpo."   I liken that to "The world doesn't know you have guns."    Another poster said that surprise is a tactic, and I completely agree.  It's a damn good tactic, too.

Just my $.02.   Flame as needed.

I have three BFL tickers on my FJ - one on each rear side window and an AZ logo BFL on the back

There's also a American flag on each side rear window and a M12LRV sticker on the back window.

I see LaRue stickers and many firearms manufacturer stickers everywhere here. Gun stickers are so common, nobody cares.
