I make damned sure I'm the first one to the stick.  I roughly cut it in half, stab one half and put it on my plate.
I'm the master of my own butter technique for the rest of the meal.

Weird. Never seen butter scraped off the top but then again I don't use butter often as a "topping".

Me either, but a tall glass of straight warm ghee really hits the spot after a hot sweaty day of mowing. Chased with a hurricane glass of thick peppered cream gravy.
