[[[ SPOILER ALERT: There will be NO Freaggin Spoiler Alerts in this Thread ]]]
This is a thread about movies that had a good plausible plot and good acting, but had a terrible, unexplained ending. I mean, the type of ending that leaves you with the thought "WTF just happened !?!". I can think of a few movies and I'll post my picks later. For now, name one... |

I can't remember the title, but that one where Click To View Spoiler
someone made a thread and said "no spoiler alerts"

Sunshine by Danny Boyle
Great until the Click To View Spoiler appearance of the captain from the first ship that started murdering everyone.

Might as well get this out of the way now…
No Country for Old Men. |

Heaven. I've watched a lot of movies and that one ranks high on my list.

Law abiding citizen
Collateral Coincidentally both movies have shit bag Jamie Foxx in it. |
|
Deathly Hallows pt 2. Horrible ending and no where near the book ending.
|
|
Buffalo Soldiers, about US troops who deal on the black market stationed in West Germany during the end of the Cold War, tacked on Hollywood ending sucked.
Click To View Spoiler In the novel the main character dies from a fall from a multi story building... in the movie he lives and is re assigned to Hawai'i

Yeah, that was stupid, no matters arfcoms baffling love of that weird dumb movie. Quoted: The Chinese version of Fight Club. lol, I saw an article about that "Authorities apprehended Tyler Durden, and he was taken to a medical facility for treatment of his mental illness. He was released in 2012." |

Quoted: Sunshine by Danny Boyle Great until the Click To View Spoiler appearance of the captain from the first ship that started murdering everyone. View Quote My absolute first thought. They had a great movie, up to that point, and then just went in a... weird... direction. |

Quoted: Sunshine by Danny Boyle Great until the Click To View Spoiler appearance of the captain from the first ship that started murdering everyone. View Quote Yep. A lot of his movies start out with a great premise - which he proceeds to completely fuck up in the last 20 minutes. |

Blair Witch Project
Not really a great movie but one that had a lot of hype going in and the ending really pissed off some people |

Quoted: Law abiding citizen View Quote Yep, the bad guys won. Cabin by the Lake (2000) was decent until the final few scenes. Those scenes had so much WTF that it ruins the whole movie. I was pissed off that I wasted an hour and a half on it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS MOVIE |

Quoted: Collateral No fucking way that retard Max kills Vincent. View Quote Yes and no. Vincent had him with 2 center mass but the rail door frame stopped them. It was dumb luck, not any skill from Max. Kind of how life works. My vote is for AI: Artificial Intelligence. It started out really good but holy shit what a mess the last half hour turned into. |

I'll go with the Mist. I mean, if he'd offed himself too, and then all the soldiers ran by shortly after it would actually have been ok, or if they'd all managed to just survive, but the everybody but him kills themselves ending was just too tryhard.

Quoted: Sunshine by Danny Boyle Great until the Click To View Spoiler appearance of the captain from the first ship that started murdering everyone. View Quote I think it was actually two movies that accidentally got spliced together. |
