She's flipping out because she's a struggling realtor and cannot come up with more money for signs, with her being new, she probably had no clue that what she was doing was wrong. I'd give her back the signs and tell her to stay off my property. I totally get the aggravation that people can cause but sometimes it's really innocent. View Quote She could visit the premises and be polite, ask to speak with the OP, explain that she made a mistake, and apologise. Once that is done she could politely ask if he still has the signs and if so could he please return them. The other option (the one she chose) is to go full bunny-boiler, threaten the OP, harass the hell out of him all day, every day and be an arse about it. There are of course positions in between those to options, but you get the drift. Results may vary, but I would expect the first option would have a higher success rate in terms of getting the signs back. |

I just got a PM from a buddy who states you should cut a deal. She lets you post pics in BOTD and you will return her signs. I am relaying his suggestion. Not saying I am endorsing such action. Thirsty much, bud? |

Was there nothing that crossed your mind to the effect of "maybe i should ask her wtf she thinks she's doing" while she was placing signs on your property? This all seems like passive aggressive school girl drama at this point. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

I've dealt with crazy realtors. I fully support OP and yes, I do want to see pics of agent.

If she asked for them back politely and apologized sure give them back.
But since shes being a crazed bitch about it go light them on fire. Whats the over/under on her having a "I want to speak to the manager" haircut? |

Update She found my personal cell phone number and just called 5 times and left 5 threatening messages. Wondered which website she found my personal number? Employees do not give out the number. This is getting better by the hour. View Quote |

OP, why are you not on the phone telling her agency's Big Boss to tell her to knock it the fuck off before you get a restraining order against her and file a complaint against his agency with the state real estate commission? View Quote |

There are a few websites that show people's contact information that has been creepily obtained one way or another, along with known associates (usually pretty accurate) and current and former personal addresses.
So unless you get those sweet sweet Sharpie b-hole pics soon, expect her to show up on your doorstep tonight. |

OP needs to post the audio. Bleep her name out if you insist on protecting her anonymity.

If she had the means to track down your business and your personal cell phone number, then she should have done so in order to obtain permission from you to enter your property and post signs.

While this narrative sucks, it is just a made up narrative at this point. Regardless, when you are dumb enough to not know your job, then threaten legal action to try to scare the person holding the cards.....WELL STUPID IS SUPPOSED TO HURT SOMETIMES. View Quote |

At this point I would just call her back and tell her:
1) She should not have posted the signs on your private property without asking, 2) You disposed of the signs she abandoned on your property and they are not recoverable, and 3) Any further contact with you or interference with your business is not welcome and will be dealt with through legal means. And just be done with it. |

WRONG! His property. She did not have permission. They became a gift or at worse she littered. You see this through the eyes of "ITS YOUR PROPERTY BUT I WILL DO WHAT I WANT WITH IT" That sounds dangerously close to fascism to me. But there is room for a little debate on that I guess? Quoted: Anyone can search county property records. It’s not that difficult. And it wouldn’t be that difficult for her to ascertain who owned the property. What’s unusual is her confidence that the landowner is the one who removed the signs. Presumably, the landowner’s truck doesn’t have all his info on the side of it, so she wouldn’t have recognized it as him that was there with the lawnmower. It could have been neighborhood kids who came along and stole the signs. What gives her the confidence to call up and harass and threaten legal action on OP’s business and personal phones? What makes her so confident he is responsible? The only thing I can think of is that somehow she has some form of evidence that he did. Either a witness or an admission by him or an employee or seeing a post about it, like this thread. I mean, who would call up someone else that adversarial and confrontational right out of the gate, when you haven’t a clue that they’re responsible? Either a nut or someone who has some legit reason to believe you did. View Quote |

Just give them back. Don’t be a dick. she’s got bills to pay even if she’s not the brightest. Not every real estate agent makes a lot of money. View Quote Nope. Sorry. Period. Realtors are a step below politicians, used car salesmen and personal injury attorneys. Case in point, the builder for my home somehow dorked something up and "accidentally" re-listed my place in MLS for 24 hours and then unlisted it. The realtor feeding frenzy that occurred was as if I had upended an abattoir over a pod of ocras. I had to power my phone off for three days based on all the realtors calling me trying to get me to list my home with them. The 18 phone calls I fielded (mostly because I was actually expecting a few calls from the car dealership and a some contractors for quotes), half of them were outright assholes when I told them there was an error, a bunch hung up on me and only two apologized for bothering me. Those two that apologized were the only numbers that I haven't listed in craigslist ads for for free shit in major metropolitan areas where more than 20% of the population is below the poverty line... F realtors.... |

Update She called again. Employees are not sure what is going on. In the beginning, they thought she was another telemarketer, but was actually surprised that she showed up. She left her business card and they are wondering what is going on. One questioned what am selling to get her to call so many times and to show up irritated. Will not post pictures of her or her name since it is too easy to look her up and I do not want to be responsible for some crazy leg humper contacting her. She looks like Courtney Cox. From my research on the Texas Real Estate Commission website, she has been licensed for about 6 months. From har.com, she has sold 2 houses, has 1 house for sale. Will update anything else that comes up. View Quote |
