Is it worth the fight and headache? Just dump them on the corner and tell her to pick them up and not leave them again or they won't be returned again. I'd also let her know that a person can leave feedback on yelp, so you'd suggest that she conduct herself a bit more professionally. View Quote |

Has OP posted any proof that any part of this story is real?

It's not about hating "capitalism", it's about ethics and disliking people who have none. I don't mean you, nor do I believe all realtors are dirt, but there are certainly ones who are scum. The realtor I used was great. I don't know if he was the exception or if he represented the majority. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

' Nope. Sorry. Period. Realtors are a step below politicians, used car salesmen and personal injury attorneys. Case in point, the builder for my home somehow dorked something up and "accidentally" re-listed my place in MLS for 24 hours and then unlisted it. The realtor feeding frenzy that occurred was as if I had upended an abattoir over a pod of ocras. I had to power my phone off for three days based on all the realtors calling me trying to get me to list my home with them. The 18 phone calls I fielded (mostly because I was actually expecting a few calls from the car dealership and a some contractors for quotes), half of them were outright assholes when I told them there was an error, a bunch hung up on me and only two apologized for bothering me. Those two that apologized were the only numbers that I haven't listed in craigslist ads for for free shit in major metropolitan areas where more than 20% of the population is below the poverty line... My wife and I actually have a call with a realtor in about 10 minutes.
I should ask her opinion. |

Has anybody checked the REALTOR.com version of Arfcom to see if some 13'er has had her property stolen?
OP needs some intel, and we need pics of said realtor. |

Passive aggressive much? If you wanted to do something about the signs you should have done it like a man with her there. Instead you want to toss them in the trash, when it's just as easy to simply ask her not to do it again and allow her to pick them up. To those trying to act tough, grow up and get out of the basement. It's sad that we're supposed to be the moral right, yet many of us act like spoiled children. What she did was wrong and nobody can argue that, but pulling this crap is just as bad IMO. I'm not a realtor and haven't played one on TV, but I am a small business owner and try to treat others the way I'd like to be treated. Best of luck in whatever you decide to do OP. View Quote |

Former neighbor down the street put a rummage sale sign on a 3' tall aluminum step ladder right in the middle of my driveway approach when I wasn't home. Needless to say the ladder was no longer usable afterwards. PD removed 2 of his earlier signs he taped to the stop sign pole and stick in one on the terrace (big no no per city ordinances here) so he put the one in my driveway. Guy was the neighborhood nuisance and his wife was the busy body putting her nose in everyones business. Caught their kids trying to climb up my cargo trailer. Mommy and daddy got pissed when I yelled at them to get off and get the hell out of my yard and stay out. My next door neighbor caught them playing in his boat the week before and fucked it up (they had the outboard cover off and pulled wires). Should mention they are about 12 and 14 at the time and the cops were not amused.
Pretty hilarious when every neighbor told them to control their damn kids and stay the fuck off their property (wife was as bad as the kids by looking in windows of doors and walking into peoples backyards looking around). |

Plus, once I retire, I'll presumably be frail and half-blind, so a lot of the high-speed stuff won't be that relevant for me anymore. Also, the land we are looking at is in a gated community, so I assume the fat pacific islander zombies won't be able to get to us. ETA: We're also going to get rid of the Porsches, and buy a crew-cab F150 instead. |

Update She called again. Employees are not sure what is going on. In the beginning, they thought she was another telemarketer, but was actually surprised that she showed up. She left her business card and they are wondering what is going on. One questioned what am selling to get her to call so many times and to show up irritated. Will not post pictures of her or her name since it is too easy to look her up and I do not want to be responsible for some crazy leg humper contacting her. She looks like Courtney Cox. From my research on the Texas Real Estate Commission website, she has been licensed for about 6 months. From har.com, she has sold 2 houses, has 1 house for sale. Will update anything else that comes up. View Quote |
