I really think that those of us in gun friendly states need to start pushing for amnesty and "sanctuary" for people like this in the evil states. We can have a vetting process, where they look at the persons history and the nature of the offenses, then let a judge or jury rule if they should be allowed to own firearms within the state.

Kid called the cops on his dad for a loud argument? Dads gonna do about 20 years in prison now.

Last Thursday, police responded to a disturbance call at Albin’s residence after his son called police during an argument between Albin and his wife.

“We were having a loud argument and my kid got scared and called 911,” he said. “Nothing physical happened. She didn’t want me to leave the house is all, and I didn’t want to stay.”

Pro tip - If you’re going to own unregistered EBRs, illegal suppressors and hi-cap mags in a ban state you’d better be the type that never gets in arguments with the wife and better die happily married 50 years later.

One shouting match or one “I’ll show him” moment from a pissed off woman will fuck you hard.

Wanna bet if it was on audio it would sound more like a murder was about to happen than a loud argument.

If your kid calls 911 because you’re scaring them you’re doing it wrong.

The only good thing that came from this is the kid has learned what inviting the man in to your life does.

This should be a lesson to every single one of y’all that live in a ban state.

Get the fuck out and start over in a state where you will not spend the cost of your house and a year’s wages just to avoid jail.( but still be a convicted felon)

Seriously, with a lot of y’all the Stockholm Syndrome is thick.

I know a machinist that made a bunch of silencers and homemade guns like sten's and such.  I think it was about 50 counts.  He made them, shot them and then chunked them under his single wide trailer.

Somebody snitched on him as part of a plea deal in a unrelated case.

I thought he was going to prison for the rest of his life.  He is older and kind of crippled so the jury gave him 2 years probation.

An officer who responded to the scene told Albin they would have to hold his guns.

“He said ‘because you’re a registered handgun owner, I need to collect your handguns,’” Albin said.

Illegal use of weapons should be strictly punished. ( crime, robbery, murder etc )

Simply possessing weapons, full auto, suppressors, etc should not be illegal at all. In fact manufacturing a full auto, and a suppressor for your own use should be 100% legal and protected.

First Selectman Rudy Marconi said the issue was not about whether the guns were stored correctly, but that they were unregistered and therefore illegal.

Nothing should be illegal, simply because its not regestered. Registration requirements are bullshit, and registration is ALWAYS abused by gov. ALWAYS.

Lol. If i needed a weapon id target police cars , hell, TONS of weapons are stolen from police cars.  OMG, we cant allow decent people to posess weapons because someone might rob them and misuse their property. Jeez.

More bullshit. Domestic violence laws, and laws allowing cops to seize guns / do searches on a whim is bullshit in the extreme.

And for some reason, many you people in "free states" are too dense to wrap your head around the fact that moving out of state isn't an option for many people.

Serious question, would you walk out of your 13 year old daughter's life and resort to only seeing her a few times a year (if you were lucky) all because you didn't like the politics / gun laws in your state?  Or are you under the impression that you can just make your ex move wherever you want because you want to own a machine gun and not have a FOID card?

That isn't how it works.

You tell them where guns are, they collect them.

In all likelihood you are handcuffed and sitting on the couch and they are sternly demanding "where are the guns, give us the guns".

Then your options are to comply with your states laws and stay with your family or say “Molon Labe!” And risk losing any parental rights due to your ex getting them revoked because you are now a felon.
