Forklift Driver Klaus english subtitles Klaus tried to warn us.... |
I didnt watch
I truly believe that God and destiny felt it best for me to work in an office rather than a machine shop or with heavy machinery. I'm not the most careful person there is |
I won't do beheading vids...but this one is top 3 savage for workplace
poor guy, he fucking went to pieces. literally. |
dammit, I paused the Aaron Franklin: 'how to trim a brisket' video to watch...now I gotta go back

That was extremely bad.
Seriously, what's left of that poor guy could be buried in a soda can. Nothing but empty clothes left by the end. RIP, man...hope you died in the first 1-2 seconds. |

You spin me right round, baby
Right round like a record, baby Right round, round, round You spin me right round, baby Right round like a record, baby Right round, round, round |

I'm no machinist, but you aren't supposed to wear long sleeves and have long hair around lathes, right? Looked like the lathe grabbed his jacket. Probably an unheated shop. If that's the case, life is still cheap there.

Did not watch.
When you feel the chuck jaws swatting your short sleeves it should get your attention. Wearing long sleeves or gloves is just not done if you are a machinist. |
The correct thing to do after witnessing something like this is to write down everything for whoever needs a statement and drink a fuckton of liquor ASAP. The reason is that you will have anterograde amnesia and will not commit it to long term memory.

Reminds me of "mechanically separated chicken".
Quoted: When I worked for for Honda I learned that even the stitching in your uniform collar can determine how quickly your neck will be broken in a lathe accident. View Quote I had a metal shop teacher that had a long beard, and eventually, it got stuck in the lathe... he managed to grab the headstock and hold long enough that it just ripped the beard hairs off. After that, he always stayed clean-shaven. |

Just went through hassle of resetting my password to watch that and it’s removed

I'm not the most careful person there is View Quote On a serious note, I think it's a wonderful thing when we realize what we're meant for, and what we're not, and don't put ourselves into peril or harm others, because we're in over our heads. I've done some jobs, that, looking back, were probably going to get me seriously hurt or killed. And, bless the people who build stuff and do dangerous jobs and have the head for it. |

Would have safety briefings on industrial accidents fairly often. One photo that would be shown, before some people complained about the reality, was a person from a South American power plant whose safety harness got caught on the shaft coupling of a shut down steam turbine generator turning 2 rpm. It weighed hundreds of tons. They couldn’t free themselves in time, and turbine couldn’t be stopped to 0 rpm for over five minutes.

Quoted: Sadly I thought this, if he wasn't wearing a coat maybe he would have made it. Shew! View Quote I can't even think of a reason to do so, much less one good enough to risk getting caught up. Maybe adjusting a taper attachment, but that's no reason not to stop the thing or walk behind it. |
I imagine seeing that happen to your coworker in person would scar you for life.
