My collection is limited compared to the ARFhorde. As such, it's a lowly Daniel Defense DDM4 V7LW with a sling, optic and MWL.

My Sig 556
Does that make me a gun hipster? I can't remember what I am anymore: hipster, commie, fudd, homo - I've been called these (and more) in the past couple of weeks in GD. |

Interesting setup. |

For real SHTF, this. 14.5" Colt SOCOM bbl/BCG. Colt SP1 lower. Optic replaced by my ancient Leupold green Firedot.
Attached File For a bump in the night/Antifa disturbance, this. Colt 14.5" M4 bbl/BCG, Larue trigger, PSA M16A2 lower. Attached File Neither pic shows the lights (Streamlight) and slings and the optic on the bump in the night gun. Both also get buttstock mag pouches. I'm a poor, so NV/thermal. |

Palmetto 5.56, Palmetto 7.62 and a Palmetto dagger 9mm, all palmetto.

DD M4V7LW Attached File Between those two depending on the situation. Low level SHTF if I’m worried the NG is going to steal my guns if they stop me like they were doing during Katrina. PSA 10.5 Attached File |

Quoted: Members calling you a hipster, commie, and fudd is just wrong on so many levels. View Quote The only one that might apply is hipster, but even that's a stretch. I tried to explain what a hipster is to the boy (9) recently. I said it's a person who does or likes things that aren't common or popular - but in a contrived way, avoiding the common/popular just because it's so. A few days later, he says to me, "Dad - are you sure you're not a hipster? You seem to like a lot of odd stuff that most people don't." |

Quoted: In the spirit of all these ridiculous shtf threads…what’s your go to when it all goes down… My choice: A PSA freedom line rifle gifted to me by GT with 5999 rounds down the pipe Or a PSA JAKL gifted to me by T-REX with 5000 rounds down the pipe Edit: rifle choice View Quote SHTF mobile or SHTF stationary at home? At home defending my home my DD MK18 MOD1 upper or Colt Socom 14.5 inch with DD RIS II & ACSS ACOG Mobile SHTF my PS90 SBR with 1k of ammo in my ruck. The weight of the ammo vs the amount of rounds. It is my go to mobile SHTF gun, and back up sidearm is my FN Five Seven MRD. |

16" CHF FN carbine profile Vortex red dot PMAG stock and grip Old surplus LBE with flap holster for M9 ball cap and jeans I might last a few seconds...what did the Japs on Iwo Jima say... "I will kill 10 enemy before I die." I'll be good to last that long. |

I really need to finish my lightweight DMR thing and then learn to shoot it. 20" Faxon Gunner, tree by nine mil dot Leupold in a Leupold mount, complete A2 lower, a dual stage trigger, and that's it. |

View Quote Honestly a pretty decent choice there. Low maintenance, internal magazine, chrome-lined, useful caliber for wild game or self defense. Could do a lot worse. |

I was when an infantry soldier once, but I didn't own a single article of "tactical" clothing or Even a grunt style T-shirt. I wear jeans, sneakers, a hoodie, and a baseball cap to the range, and that's probably what I'll be wearing when the zombies rise up. I think LARPing gets over-used, but it does apply to some people I see out shooting and training. |

Will you please explain that barrel setup? I'm not sure I understand what's going on there. Perhaps I'm just not seeing it correctly but it doesn’t look like a run of the mill AR with a can. |

Quoted: I’m thinking surefire scout with a forward offset mount inline with bore and can. Correcto-mundo. Surefire M600 Scout (Arisaka body, Surefire tailcap) with a Malkoff E2XD head and One Hundred Concepts LightCap mounted on an Arisaka inline mount and switched with a Unity Axon dual lead. It's a funny angle, but behind the light is my YHM Turbo T3 on my 16" BRT Optimum CL barrel. |
