Totally unrelated to anything normally discussed here, but this is the best argument against gun control I've ever seen. I'll bet it would be appealing to most liberals way of thinking too? |

Kind of odd, but my son is at Pendleton going through MCT. They have sent a large group of new Marines from the East Coast to the West supposedly because of hurricane damage. Now he is being told that when he graduates there he may have to stay up to an additional month or so because his school is backed up at Lejeune. That does leave an awful lot of extra help around California.

They then associate that feeling with future arguments. Because NPCs run on feels, not facts, this tactic is how you win arguements. You'll never be able to convince them with an argument that uses logic. You need to use feelings. i.e. "Islam is right about women." |

As things are posted the rabbit hole of the UN invading the US gets weirder: https://twitter.com/Polo_82fever/status/1182315169667518464
TL;DR its not, but cut and paste resistant: More units of every Branch activated as UN units are sneaking across the border (which might explain the sudden incursions of men from Africa, etc.) Then they are supposedly going to break out of FEMA camps. The effort is to physically capture or harm POTUS Satellites were repositioned to monitor things more clearly Days of Rage to start the 15th including acts of Satan Worship Warning to stay out of public areas and avoid the large number of false flag killings, in the thousands. View Quote https://time.com/5693865/california-oktoberfest-explosion/ 5 People Injured in Utility Explosions at California Oktoberfest Celebration Emily Rasmussen—The Orange County Register/SCNG/AP October 6, 2019 (HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif.) — Five people were hurt and revelers scrambled for safety when a series of explosions in an underground electrical vault sent flames shooting into the sky during an Oktoberfest celebration at a shopping and dining complex in Southern California, authorities said Sunday. Two firefighters and two restaurant employees were treated for minor injuries following the blasts around 8:15 p.m. Saturday during the annual event at Old World Village in Huntington Beach, according to Battalion Chief Jeff Lopez with the city’s fire department. A third restaurant employee had moderate to severe injuries, he said. Firefighters were initially called to the scene for a reported electrical fire in the underground vault. The first explosion splattered heated mineral oil used to cool the transformers and possibly ignited subsequent blasts, authorities said at a Sunday press conference. The cause is under investigation. Witnesses said they heard as many as three explosions coming from the festival about 35 miles (62 kilometers) south of downtown Los Angeles. Megan Houck, 26, said she saw flames come up from the floor near a patio area. “It was just like one giant fireball that went up,” she told the Long Beach Press Telegram. “And then there was a second explosion maybe 10 or 20 seconds later.” Houck said the flames went well above the roof of the village, up to 40 feet (12 meters) in the air. Revelers, some wearing traditional German costumes including lederhosen, ran from the scene as police evacuated the complex. Southern California Edison crews worked through the night to replace three damaged transformers in the vault and restore power, spokesman Robert Villegas said. As many as 1,700 customers lost electricity, he said. Pat Brassil, 27, said he was outside one of the Oktoberfest tents when he saw flames shoot out from another tent near the festival’s entrance. “It just lit up the sky,” he told the Los Angeles Times. “Everyone was going pretty crazy and screaming.” |

I finally got to watch this Minneapolis, MN POTUS Trump full rally video. It is, by far, his absolute best rally and off the cuff (for the most part) speech.
I am a hard core Trump fan since even before the escalator day, but even I get tired of some of his speeches, repetition, and bragging at times. If he campaigns w/ "speeches" (more like he was having a conversation) like this throughout the 2020 season...no one will even come close to him. I was in tears as he discussed this below and so much more: - ending wars and why - bringing the troops home, - writing individual letters to every KIA family, - visiting hard charging "beautiful soldiers" w/ broken bodies in hospitals, -"awarding" purple hearts - honoring the dead by greeting them as they are welcomed home @ Dover. - The heart wrenching unconsolable grief of spouses/parents/family/friends who, when meeting their beloved's remains, fall/jump/collapse onto the coffin while making sounds you never thought would come out of a human. It was so obvious how hard this part of the job is and how seriously he approaches it. Despite his tough guy persona, every dead American warfighter occupies his or her own tiny part of Trump's heart and soul...no one will convince me otherwise. EVERY leftist, democrat, NT'er, etc needs to see this. Anyone who could watch this and still think the worst of POTUS Trump...has no heart, compassion, or intelligence. Can anybody point out a mobilization exercise where an entire Division of Marines drive cross country, ever?
We live in interesting times. Ancient Chinese curse, ironically. What truck stop can handle 10,000 troops? Think about that. Ok go from one military post to another, you still got 10,000 troops to put up, feed shower refuel Major exercise. You can rotate drivers, keep everything moving, but fuel and poop are issues you cannot ignore. Think about it, there is probably still frozen elephant poop in some Swiss mountain valley left from Hannibal crossing the Alps. 10,000 Marins eating crayons are going to leave a mark on the country. Now, how do troops securely transport their personal weapons when enroute to a destination? Especially when you are taking everything else with you? You issue them to each swinging Richard and he totes it. Hand receipt and don't lose the mother. Gun rack in the vehicle, and now lets talk 10,000 M4's etc on the road, somebody is going to have ammo to keep the typical Florida man in that jurisdiction from lifting one from the convoy. Now we are talking, if even lightly, an armed convoy of 10,000 Marines. 2d Marine Division is going to drive cross country and live in CA for two months. Sure, there are plenty of rotations to the boxes in Polk and Irwin, been there done that, but it's usually two weeks, not two months. For all the overseas rotations the Marines have practiced down to a fine art, what the hell do they need to practice driving cross country on first world roads from one Petro to another 350 miles down the road over 2500 miles? Oh, hohum, nothing to see here. We're moving the 2d Div cross country and it's crickets from the media. And that tells me something. |

I don't know which idea is DUMBER. DUMBs or this:
U.S. Army leaders say the next war will be fought in mega-cities, but the service has embarked on an ambitious effort to prepare most of its combat brigades to fight, not inside, but beneath them. Late last year, the Army launched an accelerated effort that funnels some $572 million into training and equipping 26 of its 31 active combat brigades to fight in large-scale subterranean facilities that exist beneath dense urban areas around the world. View Quote Does some report mentioning LIDAR discredit the DUMBs possibility? I think it's way overblown, the idea of miles deep bases connected by tunnels... But is there some truth behind it? The best way to discredit something is to simply state it, but with one obviously false portion. Something is not adding up. Are we invading the NY subway system? 26 brigades needed? Just what is the target? And why the urgency? |
