Trump sues all the Democrats. Hmm.
Discovery will be interesting. What will he request that they would refuse to provide? And what will he provide even if they don't want it? How do you introduce evidence . . . With things then submitted to the court thru the trial, can the DOJ then say they need to investigate, too? Legal eagles can chime in any time now about what can or can't happen. As for the Dems, if they are spending millions to defend themselves, are we going to see them accepting funds from criminal sources, or spend funds they can't, which leads to more criminal charges. Just saying, odds are high they can't and won't do it legally. With Flynn wrapping up quickly now, will HIS lawyer be looking to represent the President? Time frame - I saw one celebrity will get their trial in May or June 2020. With Trump playing the Dems, I have no doubt the increasing crescendo of trials against the Democrats would peak thru the summer and the bigger cases wind up finishing just before the elections, and it would be entirely the fault of the defense attempting to avoid that yet making it happen. BTW, how do you sue someone for committing treasonous acts? Trump has broached the subject, is this the cover story for arrests and tribunals? Are we getting the sugar coated introduction of news to move the Overton window and make trials against Democrats a common topic of conversation? Seems so. YOU'RE GONNA GET SUED, AND YOU'RE GONNA GET SUED, AND YOU'RE GONNA GET SUED. YOU ARE ALL GONNA GET SUED. |

They are saying it's 1.4TB of data, and it's a 1.5TB hard drive. Essentially, the drive is full. Some encryption utilities encrypt "in-place". Others will write the data to a different disk or file folder. In any event, changing the encryption key would seem to require re-writing the entire drive and/or making a copy of everything somewhere else. The poster is saying the data was probably written in 2012. The label says it's a repaired hard drive. For data that is of such consequence, would the poster risk losing his only copy of the data while re-writing an entire volume with a new encryption key on a 7+ year old HDD with a history of failure? Something doesn't seem right about the poster's story. |

>8791 #251295 at 2018-01-05 23:42:43 (UTC+1) CBTS General #298: Sifting Through The Swamp -- We Won't Get Lost Edition I kept looking at this one line: Covert OP by [CLAS-59#241-Q] to infiltrate at highest level to destroy from within? So I went back to the Seth Rich Map. There is a line from Q: (SUPPORT: CS, NP, AS, CLAS-1, CLAS-2, CLAS-3, CLAS-4, CLAS-5, CLAS-6)> The decode on this (A11) was "Support came from Chuck Shumer, Nancy Pelosi, Adam schiff, and 6 of the 9 classified sources." So is Q telling us that the same operative, CLAS-5, of the 9. Then I went back to CBTS #242 - FBI Raid Sterling, VA to get a quick read on CBTS #241. Well, low and behold, under RECENT HAPPENINGS NEWS was the FBI Raid in Sterling, VA. Remember, #242 was named after the events in #241. This BREAD is DELICIOUS. To refresh your memories, the story was that this guy, Sean Duncan, had been under investigation for about a year. And when the FBI raided his house he was arrested for "knowingly altering, destroying, mutilating and concealing tangible objects ... with the intent to impede and obstruct" an FBI investigation. Duncan had been interested in joining ISIS. So what may have been on the documents he was trying to destroy? I had to stop right there because now this guy is sounding like some low level nobody and I'm just going down another rabbit hole. Maybe. So who would CLAS-5 be? Who is Sean Duncan (he's not the gaming professor at University of Virginia either, but what a coincidence? Q says there are no coincidences. Take a look at this guy at se4n.org.)? And what would he know about who? And how does that tie into infiltrating the highest level to destroy within? "My doctoral students and I have collaboratively worked on multiple projects, including: Investigations of badges and participation in discussions on StackOverflow, Reddit, and Steam, the design of analog "story games" to facilitate reflection, the implications of instructional game streaming around the eSport Dota 2, and social network analyses of participation in online Minecraft communities. A common thread in my work is one of understanding collaboration in gaming culture, looking at how critical gaming, game design, and interpretive gaming communities feature people working together to do things (sometimes good, sometimes terrible)." - Sean Duncan Would you like to play a game? Knife attack by employee at Paris police HQ kills 4 officers
An employee armed with a knife attacked officers inside Paris police headquarters Thursday, killing at least four before he was fatally shot, a French police union official said.
Police union official Loic Travers told reporters the attack appears to have begun in an office and continued elsewhere in the large police compound across the street from Notre Dame Cathedral. The number of people injured was not immediately known. Travers said the motive is unknown, but that the 20-year police employee allegedly responsible for the attack worked as an administrator in the intelligence unit and had not posed known problems until Thursday. Feds Seize Million Pounds of Smuggled Chinese Pork
U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) stopped an attempt to smuggle one million pounds of pork from China to a New Jersey port on Friday, resulting in the biggest seizure of agricultural product in American history. This comes on the heels of African swine fever (ASF) raging through China and devastating the hog population in the world’s largest pork-producing country.
“This was highly orchestrated,” said Stephen Maloney, the Customs and Border Patrol’s acting port director for the Port of New York/Newark. He said this was a concerted effort to conceal product. More than 100 CBP agricultural specialists and K-9 teams worked to uncover the prohibited food. The pork was smuggled in various different ways from ramen noodle bowls to Tide detergent containers, said deputy chief agricultural specialist Basil Liakakos. In some cases, the packaging in the shipment matched the products on the manifest, authorities said, but the contents inside were prohibited pork. In other cases, the pork was simply packaged among the other products. CBP teams are working hard to keep ASF, a highly transmissible, deadly virus of pigs, out of the U.S. ASF does not affect humans, but is rapidly spread to domestic pigs and wild boars. The ASF virus survives 150-180 days in fresh meat. In frozen meat, reports say the virus can live indefinitely. Officials announced this seizure of more than 50 shipping containers during a press conference Friday morning at a warehouse in Elizabeth, N.J. According to a NJ.com article, three rooms were filled wall-to-wall with packages of the illegally smuggled pork products. (See link for rest of article) |

Jeffrey Epstein Raked In $200 Million After Legal and Financial Crises
Jeffrey Epstein’s biggest client had deserted him, his money management firm had lost more than $150 million during the financial crisis, and he was a registered sex offender. But after he started a new company with a wildly speculative business plan in 2012, Mr. Epstein had no problem pulling in cash.
His start-up, Southern Trust, reported more than $200 million in revenues over the next five years, according to a review of previously unreported financial statements filed in the Virgin Islands. Despite a name that calls to mind a financial services firm, the fledgling company with a handful of employees said it was developing a DNA data-mining service. Southern Trust was trying to gauge customers’ predisposition to cancer by “basically organizing mathematical algorithms,” Mr. Epstein told Virgin Islands officials as he sought a lucrative tax break in 2012. Subscribe to With Interest Mr. Epstein’s business revival is documented in financial statements and other filings obtained by The New York Times. The documents — from Southern Trust and his earlier firm, Financial Trust — offer a glimpse of Mr. Epstein’s mysterious finances. They show that Financial Trust peaked at the end of 2004, when it reported $563 million in assets and net income of $108 million. And they demonstrate how Mr. Epstein rebuilt his business in his later years, with Southern Trust reporting $175 million in retained earnings — leftover profits that can be reinvested — in 2017, the last year for which statements were available. But the documents do not say who was paying vast sums of money to Mr. Epstein’s new venture just a few years after his 2008 guilty plea to soliciting a minor for prostitution. Nor do they offer an explanation for why customers would hand over money to a man who had apparently switched from financial services to DNA research. They do, however, offer a reason for that sudden change in focus. In 2012, Mr. Epstein asked the Virgin Islands Economic Development Authority to note that Financial Trust no longer managed money, so it would not have to register with federal securities regulators as required under the Dodd-Frank Act. Later that year, Financial Trust was replaced by Southern Trust, which Mr. Epstein told territorial officials would still maintain a “financial arm.” The single-page unaudited financial statements for both companies — obtained through a public-records lawsuit against the territory’s Division of Corporations and Trademarks — are littered with curious line items. Judicial Watch story about Rosenstein
DOJ DOCS SHOW ROSENSTEIN ADVISING MUELLER ‘THE BOSS’ DOESN’T KNOW ABOUT THEIR COMMUNICATIONS — JUDICIAL WATCH (Washington, DC) Judicial Watch released 145 pages of Rod Rosenstein’s communications that include a one-line email from Rod Rosenstein to Robert Mueller stating, “The boss and his staff do not know about our discussions” and “off the record” emails with major media outlets around the date of Mueller’s appointment. Judicial Watch filed the lawsuit after the DOJ failed to respond to a September 21, 2018, Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:19-cv-00481)). Judicial Watch seeks: Any and all e-mails, text messages, or other records of communication addressed to or received by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein between May 8, 2017, and May 22, 2017. The time period referred to in this suit is critical. On May 8, 2017, Rosenstein wrote a memo to President Trump recommending that FBI Director James Comey be fired. The next day, President Trump fired Comey. Just three days later, on May 12, Rosenstein sent an email assuring Robert Mueller that “The boss and his staff do not know about our discussions.” In a May 16, 2017 email, sent the day before Mueller’s appointment, Rosenstein emailed former Bush administration Deputy Attorney General and current Kirkland & Ellis Partner, Mark Filip stating, “I am with Mueller. He shares my views. Duty Calls. Sometimes the moment chooses us.” Check the link for the rest of the story... |

Massive $7.5 Billion U.S. Award From WTO in Airbus Subsidy Case Sets Stage for Countervailing Duties Against EU Posted on October 3, 2019 by sundance Jumpin' ju-ju bones The Trump administration via U.S. Trade Rep Robert Lighthizer and Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross won a massive $7.5 billion award as an outcome of the World Trade Organization agreeing with the U.S. against the EU and Airbus subsidies. The WTO arbitrators decision is final and cannot be appealed. This win sets the stage for President Trump to deploy $7.5 billion in countervailing duties against products from the EU. Keep in mind, a final WTO ruling means the EU cannot retaliate against any WTO-authorized countermeasures. The downstream ramifications are very significant. Think about it: at 25% the U.S. could tariff $30 billion in EU goods. [IMG] Man, talk about serendipitous timing But first, here's the press release from Robert Lighthizer: Washington, D.C. The United States has won the largest arbitration award in World Trade Organization (WTO) history in its dispute with the European Union over illegal subsidies to Airbus. This follows four previous panel and appellate reports from 2011-2018 finding that EU subsidies to Airbus break WTO rules. Today's decision demonstrates that massive EU corporate welfare has cost American aerospace companies hundreds of billions of dollars in lost revenue over the nearly 15 years of litigation. "For years, Europe has been providing massive subsidies to Airbus that have seriously injured the U.S. aerospace industry and our workers. Finally, after 15 years of litigation, the WTO has confirmed that the United States is entitled to impose countermeasures in response to the EU's illegal subsidies," U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer said. "Accordingly, the United States will begin applying WTO-approved tariffs on certain EU goods beginning October 18. We expect to enter into negotiations with the European Union aimed at resolving this issue in a way that will benefit American workers." The award of $7.5 billion annually is by far the largest award in WTO historynearly twice the largest previous award. The Arbitrator calculated this amount based on WTO findings that EU launch aid for Airbus is causing significant lost sales of Boeing large civil aircraft, as well as impeding exports of Boeing large aircraft to the EU, Australia, China, Korea, Singapore, and UAE markets. Under WTO rules, the Arbitrator's decision is final and not subject to appeal. The United States today has requested that the WTO schedule a meeting on October 14 to approve a U.S. request for authorization to take countermeasures against the EU. Pursuant to WTO rules, the WTO will provide this authorization automatically at that meeting. The EU is not allowed to retaliate against WTO-authorized countermeasures. The tariffs will be applied to a range of imports from EU Member States, with the bulk of the tariffs being applied to imports from France, Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom the four countries responsible for the illegal subsidies. Although USTR has the authority to apply a 100 percent tariff on affected products, at this time the tariff increases will be limited to 10 percent on large civil aircraft and 25 percent on agricultural and other products. The U.S. has the authority to increase the tariffs at any time, or change the products affected. (read more) Macron's Merlot, Merkel's Mercedes, Conte's Chianti and Johnsons' Johnson are all quivering. Trump, Lighthizer and Ross can pick and choose whatever products they choose to designate the countervailing duties upon; they can mix-and match; they can shift and change; they can assign and withdraw; and there's not a single thing the EU can do about it. Remarkable 'leverage', oh, this could be lots of fun. Ambassador Lighthizer has already made a list of products for the countermeasures. Varying products with varying tariffs. You can read the full list HERE (pdf). Reuters has an outline on some of the products, and the responses from Europe. What makes this even more excellent is the timing for Brexit. If Boris Johnson can get out of the EU without strings Trump can use these WTO-authorized tariffs to position a UK trade deal with the U.S. as a trade superhighway. Incredibly this WTO decision plays right into the hand of President Trump's global trade realignment. KORUS (Korea-US) is in the books; phase one of the U.S-Japan agreement is in the books; the North American USMCA is complete pending ratification; the EU previously agreed to purchase U.S. beef exports; and President Trump has been working on a post-Brexit UK-US bilateral trade agreement. The timing for this WTO decision is, well, perfect. China and the EU have devalued their currency in an effort to block the impacts from President Trump's trade realignment and the 'America First' trade policy. Because those currencies are devalued against the dollar, the resulting effect is a rising dollar value. That's the stupid hypocrisy of global banking outlooks. They make a decision to devalue their currency, which causes the dollar value to rise, and then turn around and blame the U.S. dollar for being overvalued. The root cause of the devaluation is unaddressed in their argument. The EU (specifically Germany and France) and China are trying to retain their global manufacturing position and offset the impact of President Trump's tariffs by lowering the end value of their exports. However, it's a never ending spiral and the U.S. consumer cannot save the world. In the bigger picture this is why President Trump is the most transformative economic President in the last 75 years. The post-WWII Marshall Plan was set up to allow Europe and Asia to place tariffs on exported American industrial products. Those tariffs were used by the EU and Japan to rebuild their infrastructure after a devastating war. However, there was never a built in mechanism to end the tariffs. until President Trump came along and said: "it's over"! By putting tariffs on foreign imports he has counterbalanced the never-ending Marshal Plan trade program and demanded renegotiation(s). Trump's goal is reciprocity; however, the EU and Asia, specifically China, don't want to give up a decades-long multi-generational advantage. This is part of their fight. No-one, ever, could take on all these interests. Think about it The EU, Asia, World Bank, International Monetary Fund, China, Russia, U.S. Chamber of Commerce, Iran, U.S. Congress, Wall Street, the Big Club, Lobbyists, Hollywood, Corporate Media (foreign and domestic), and the ankle-biters in Never Trump. All of these financial interests are aligned against Main Street USA and against President Trump. Name one individual who could take them on simultaneously and still be winning, bigly. They say he's one man. They say they have him outnumbered. Yet somehow, as unreal as it seems, he's the one who appears to have them surrounded. Incredible. Go Trump! |

Incredible. Go Trump! View Quote |
