I would plant a paintball claymore waaaaay back in the woods, turn your ca,eras off when you do it or leave something that they can steal in an area covered by your cameras. When they steal it file a police report and provide video to them...profit.

OP, find out where they live and go ask their parents to tell their kids to stay off your lawn. I had the same issue and that worked for me...plus the fact that I explained that they were trampling my expensive attempts to reseed my lawn and I didn't want to sue anybody for that expense.

Post this on a sign prominently displayed near the shortcut.
"REWARD. Missing boa constrictor, approximately 10' long. Last seen near the edge of the pond. Extremely aggressive, may be pregnant and defending her young! Do not try and catch, run away and call the number below to report where she was last seen. 1-800-RUN-AWAY." (I wouldn't leave a real phone number, some nut will likely call). You should probably let your neighbors in on the joke, though. Or... "REWARD for information leading to the arrest of person or persons responsible for theft and vandalism of vehicles in this neighborhood." Call the number below to report tips to the police." 1-800-UGO-AWAY." They'll either be scared of the big snake they can't see, or they'll be paranoid of the cops they can't see. Either way, taking the shortcut will suddenly become much less appealing. |

If you do that I would wait until the pond is almost dry so that the fence reaches into an area that is normally covered by water. All of those gimmicks are only short-term 'solutions' that, at best, might give you temporary relief or satisfaction. In the end, they'll only add to the frustration that you feel because you'll look back on them as additional expense and aggravation.
I understand your hesitation in facing it, but your problem is clear to many of us - you're too close to a population that outnumbers you and that you can't control, and it will only get worse with time. What you need isn't signs, gimmicks or tricks. What you need is a realtor. |

Some one B/E your truck, then you get pics of trespassers. Call the cops, have them out there when they are cutting through your yard. If they don't wanna do their job, do it for them. The trail they use to enter your property is fair game at that point to prep it to make it hostile to their health. |

So I found out that lot of neighbors have been bitching too. Apparently the hood rats go straight to the community basketball court. Civiled residents are tired of hearing n* this and f* while hanging out at the park. We're looking at having it fenced in and secured with a swipe card like our pool. That or rip it up and turn it into a dog park.
That should take care of most of the problems, the other big problem are thieves going around trying car doors, but that seems to affect everyone in town. |

did you leave the truck unlocked?? and if so why??? I like that sprinkler, there was a video from New York people were using the bathroom in the alley so they set up a shower so it gets them soaking wet . was a funny video all the people ran but one guy was insistent on going right there and kept getting sprayed. |

I would think once or twice a day, probably once to go where they are coming from and once to go back. you will see on video soon enough. Lots of obvious answers like a fence.
But for relatively easy and low budget...simply flood specific areas with a hose to make sections of the trail(s) muddy. Eventually they will stop shortcutting via the trails and cutting through your property, at least until you can properly fence. |
