My dad got me a 10/22 when I was 12 back in 2000, my first real firearm, after I took a gun safety course at a local gun shop. Besides looks, is there much functional difference between a 10/22 and a .22lr rifle that looks like an AR?
Years ago, I read that certain people want to prohibit children from having air rifles/BB guns, because it encourages them to own firearms later in life. This seems to be what’s going on now. |
