View Quote Should also be noted that he used an SKS, and would have killed Steve Scalise had a rep who was a former Army doctor not been there at the game. Point being all he had to do was close with his intended target, just like today's would-be assassin. The tool isn't actually that important. Gavrilo Princip would've been happy to use an SKS, so would John Wilkes Booth. They didn't need a specialized tool, just something that worked once that they could get close with. |
