Pink Lady and Jeff. Variety show that aired 5 times on NBC in 1980.

Ten Speed And Brown Shoe. Comedic detective show, ran for 14 episodes on ABC in 1980.

Ben Vereen would reprise his Ten-Speed Turner character on another short-lived show, J.J. Starbuck, which ran for 16 episodes on NBC in 1987-88.

"The Riches" with Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver was great... for one season, and then the writer's strike killed it.

I don't know if this fits the nearly unknown criteria but most people I talk to haven't heard about it. I enjoyed though.

Very well done dramatization of what happened in Jerusalem after the crucifixion of Christ. Also starred Johdi May, everybody's favorite sister from Last of the Mohicans, and she's still good looking.

It was called...maybe 1600 Pennsylvnia, I don't remember. It was a political drama show that had James Carville in it, along with other politicos. It ran maybe a season. Off to google.

ETA- It was called "K Street"

The Bridge....yeah.. Tried to watch that... kind of made me think it inspired someone to make Scicaro. The chick's character made me want to punch the TV screen after about the 4 episodes.

I recorded that when it aired. Still have the tape. Sc-fi author William Gibson has a cameo in it, playing himself.

If I remember right, she was supposed to have Aspergers. It was impossible to like her character.

It's a Man's World was "ahead of its time": it depicted the restlessness, idealism, and increasing iconoclasm that began to emerge among American youth during the early 1960s.[5] Broadcast at the family hour, It's a Man's World did not shy from the themes of premarital sex, feminism, and the gulf between adults and adolescents, which began to be known as the generation gap. The program coincided with the Cuban Missile Crisis, civil rights disputes, and the emergence of protest singer Bob Dylan. It attracted a minor cult following on college campuses, but it failed to attract mass audiences.[5]

It's a Man's World faced relatively weak competition at 7:30 Eastern on Mondays from the last season of Clint Walker's western Cheyenne on ABC and the two long-running CBS quiz programs, To Tell the Truth with Bud Collyer and I've Got a Secret with Garry Moore.[6]

NBC cancelled It's a Man's World midway through its only season, on the grounds of low Nielsen ratings. They ignored viewers who wrote letters of protests, the kind which resurfaced four years later in 1967, when CBS axed Gunsmoke but then reversed itself and gave the long-running western another eight years of production.[5]
