One season in 1982 but it was surprisingly good with the 30's-40s period feel and adventure.

It was based on a Danish/Swedish TV series called "Bron/Broen" or in English, you guessed it, The Bridge (2011).

That's My Bush, from the guys that did South Park.  The one episode where the first lady's personal hygiene is the plot of the episode was hysterically funny.  After 9/11 Parker and Stone cancelled it themselves as they didn't want to make fun of the Presidency during those times.  Still a funny show, though

I remember liking Herman's Head. Lots of talent in the cast, great theme song by the Talking Heads, ran 3 seasons. 2 of the people were voices from the Simpsons including Hank Azaria. Each actor was a different emotion in his head.

Brimstone  13 episodes, 98-99
A dead cop, sentenced to Hell, is returned to Earth by the Devil to recover 113 escaped evil spirits.

Now and Again   22 episodes , 99-00
When Michael Wiseman is killed in a tragic subway accident, the U.S. government covertly makes him an offer he can't refuse; they "keep his brain alive" and place it into a new, genetically bio-engineered body. The doctor in charge of the experiment has grand plans for him, but all Michael wants is to get back to his grieving wife and daughter. For security reasons, the government forbids such contact... not that Michael is going to let that stop him.

Alcatraz   13 episodes, 2012
In 1963, all the prisoners and guards mysteriously disappear from Alcatraz. In the present day, they resurface and a secret agency are tasked with re-capturing them.
Alcatraz did an homage to the Bullitt chase scene, including the green bug

Remember what got the Dana Carvey Show cancelled?

He did a sketch as Bill Clinton talking about how great welfare is. He opened his jacket and had rows of tits, like a dog, saying "Come on everyone, suck on me." or something like that.  The tits might have even been dripping milk.

The libs heads fucking exploded and the series was cancelled immediately.

Jericho.

1.5 seasons, with the short 2nd season phoned in due to the writer's strike.

I love that show, I watch through it yearly. Even 10 years after it aired, the fan base is still going strong and is actively pushing for a reboot. The 2nd season only happened because fans sent in thousands of pounds of peanuts to CBS execs (a reference to the WW2 'Nuts' line that is brought up in the show).

Still hoping CBS brings it back as an online-exclusive for All Access. There's some evidence to indicate it's a possibility, such as them revoking the rights for any more seasons of the comic books that continued the story line after the show.

"Stingray" starring Nick Mancuso-- a Steven Cannell show that went a season and a half in 1985-6 or so. It had fantastic scripts and great story telling-- then it was put on against "Miami Vice." You can get the whole show on DVD now for cheap, and it's worth watching, even if you aren't a Nick Mancuso fan. Nick is an interesting guy--

Manimal is an American action–adventure series that ran from September 30 to December 17, 1983, on NBC. The show centers on the character Dr. Jonathan Chase (Simon MacCorkindale), a shape-shifting man who possessed the ability to turn himself into any animal he chose. He used this ability to help the police solve crimes.

Over 300 episodes in 2 seasons.
Even so, it just faded into obscurity pretty quickly as if it never happened.
I don't think I've heard it mentioned more than twice in the forty years that have passed since.

This Just In

Brian is a conservative-leaning newspaper columnist who voted for George W. Bush over Al Gore, enjoys the single life over married life, and isn't afraid to voice his opinions, even when it means not having sex with politically liberal hot women. His friends include house-husband Craig Tindle, who is "whipped" by his neoconservative Korean wife, Hu, and teacher Jimmy Townhouse, a moderate Democrat who tries to bring his Republican friend off his high horse. Brian and his friends spend their time drinking at a local bar and commenting on the week's events as they unfold via TV news as they're served drinks by attractive Latina bartender Sami Ruiz, who Brian wouldn't mind sleeping with if she didn't support Ralph Nader. The series finds the group encountering caricatures of known figures like Wayne Brady, who is running for president, a drunken Ted Kennedy, and George W. Bush.

Produced by Howard Stern.  Actually ran three seasons, although I can only remember two - not sure if the third season really aired or not.  Funny as hell, and had a great looking female supporting cast.
