help me out folks.

I spoke with two companies today who say their 9mm cans won't clear the .393 diameter 9x39 bullet - now this is based on what wiki has - haven't seen any measurements posted on the wolf ammo.

So this leaves me with wanting a .45 can (one pistol can to do it all).

Need suggestions:

Criteria:
1.) in stock at SilencerShop
2.) easily swap-able mounts / pistons - 1/2x28 for glocks, 1/2x36 for AR-9, and of course to accommodate the 9x39 barrel. Naturally the ability to mount on a 1911 too.
3.) $1k with stamp

@SilencerShop or others want to make some suggestions? I'm ready to buy.

Here's a question on these.   Are these made in Russia?    I'm asking because it looks like with the poisoning in England there may be sanctions put on Russia from England, the US, and possibly the EU.   Are we looking at these coming here just in time for them to be blocked?

Liberty Cosmic is what I went with. You can get any thread pitch you want in fixed adaptor or piston. It will handle rifle calibers up to 7.62x39/300blk.

Works in the cold.

More case volume to drive the gas system when temps are really low without exceeding the sound barrier when it's warm.

Is the Bolt Carrier, firing pin, cam pin, etc of a 7.62x39 BCG different than a 5.56 BCG?

I have lots of spare parts for 5.56.  Would I just need a spare 7.62 bolt for this?

bolt carriers, cam pins, firing pins, retainer are the same

Bolt is different.

There is a special firing pin offered for 7.62x39mm if you have ignition problems with steel case
ammo

Wolf said initially, due to it being a low volume item, it will be priced similar to 300 BLK. But
as more guns get out there and the sales climb the price will drop. It's all about volume.

So far I am very impressed by the cartridge. I have done velocity testing using a LabRadar Doppler chronograph
and from a 10.5 inch barrel it is generating 701 ft-lbs at the muzzle. It's very quiet with a suppressor. I need
to finish formal accuracy testing. The barrel I received was from a preproduction batch they sent out for feedback
and is undergassed. I got it running and really like it, it slaps steel very hard. I need to section a projectile, I think
it has an air-pocket in the nose, but have to check. So far I can see why the Russians like it....

I'm solidly in the "Convert my useless 7-inch 5.56 pistol to 9x39, hog out my Form 1 9mm can a little bigger, and direct thread it to the gun" camp.  But it all comes down to ammo prices.

I'm very interested for an AR.   If we can get good parts, with reliable mags w/ good ammo at a reasonable price.   I think we'll see 9x39 AKs and possibly something like a VSS if the easy stuff like ARs sells.   Converting ARs is a cheap/easy solution to get a lot of people using the ammo.

"Ammo price" for factory loaded ammo is key.

It does not appear that this caliber can be reloaded.
