I'd tell her I don't trust her either... If it's something small like she doesn't trust ya to dress well, that's ok, tell me what to wear then. But if it's something big like I don't trust ya period. Then might want to lawyer up for that pending divorce...

It really depends on the thing. There's a big difference between not trusting me with access to our checking account, and not trusting me with a case of whiskey and some dynamite.

My wife doesn't trust me to play it cool when she tells me that her annoying/obnoxious sister and her annoying/obnoxious husband will be staying with us for a week... intruding on nearly every aspect of our lives in our humble house, instead of staying in an F'ing hotel like normal people.
For good reason. P.S. It happens every other summer, and she just informed me of the bad news for this summer a few days ago. Now I have something to dread for the next month, and then something to [barely] endure for a week or two. Now I have to figure-out things to keep me away from my own home, or locked in my man cave. Lord knows I won't be having any good sex that week. |

My reaction, without reading anything but the Op is; *Ok, you handle it.*

In my experience this is something women do when they are doing something untrustworthy. That way they get support from their friends when they come back and say "I did it because you were doing it" even though you never did anything.

Tell the bitch to shut the fuck up and mind her own business.
Guess that's why I'm divorced tho. |

If she doesn't trust you to do the laundry correctly, you are WINNING.

I don't trust the OP's ability to create a compelling and coherent thread nor his ability to use proper punctuation.

Ok, I'll admit it. I did put her jeans in the dryer once. I was helping with the chores. Upon further reflection "Your jeans aren't shrinking, it's your ass that's growing." was not the proper response to her when she called the serious error of putting jeans in the dryer. No, she does not trust me with the laundry any more.

Maybe it's to diffuse a bomb or something or purchase the right hair care product. I wouldn't trust myself either.

Fuck, My Wife tells me that pretty much every 15mins (lol). She's right most of the time.

As Bill Balance always said, "He who loves the least is always in control of the relationship"...

Quoted: I agree 100%. There have to be some compelling reasons for me to stay in someone's home rather than get a hotel room. I have no desire to intrude on other people's lives, even if invited, but even more importantly I value my own privacy and comfort. View Quote |

Op....can we trust you to answer some of these questions in this mess of a thread you created??
Trust with what?.. money, shopping for food items, cooking, her sisters, financial decisions, pulling out?.. |

I'd let her know she will not see me for a week or so.
A couple days later she wouldn't see me. A couple more days and she still wouldn't see me. About the 6th or 7th day the swelling would have gone down in her left eye enough that she could make me out a little bit. |

OP is a woman, whose wife doesn't trust her to tell her the whole story before asking her opinion.
