$1 says it's made in China.

Hell - I still bought one.

Good Job SpaceX.

I know the robotic platform ship is in the ocean and the weather was cloudy and rainy, but do you think you could land in the center of the yellow bullseye next time?.  I mean sure, all parts of the rocket were inside the 10 ring and it still counts as a bullseye, but I don't want the French judge to have an excuse for deducting a half point and giving it to the Soviets.

Because the Russians are so good at landing their boosters in a recoverable manner?

Next launch is a regular crew rotation with 4 people on August 30. SpaceX's current launch cadence is insane in comparison to what EVERYONE combined was doing just a few years ago, and only going up from there.

I want SpaceX to buy a bigger barge.

Perhaps an automated factory ship of some sort that would begin prepping the section for another launch not long after it lands.

In a few years they won't launch a Falcon 9 or Falcon Heavy unless a customer pays them to.
EVERYTHING else will go up on a BFR. And the BFR boosters will return to dry land.

SpaceX seems to be doing a great job of keeping costs down. If Boeing was doing this they would probably have a barge the size of a Nimitz class carrier which would never leave port.

Came up right over the bridge. We were so close I was surprised at how fast it disappeared. Felt like only a few seconds and it was gone. Even the shockwave took forever to show up. It’s going fast, sure, but when you see it it’s going fast.

Everyone cheered the whole time. Not going to lie, after it disappeared behind a cloud there was a sudden gust that got some dust in my eyes.

Stood there watching the clouds for a bit, hoping to see the separation. I suddenly remembered an old line, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand here looking into the sky...?”

Playlinda is only a couple few miles north. Can surf there.

I have attended a few meetings at "the Beach House" where the crews have their family parties, have never brought my board
It's one of the original neighborhood houses before KSC and is available for us to use/schedule sometimes.

On the local coverage a NASA guy said they have rockets everywhere at Canaveral. He said it's insane. Never been done before amount of rockets parked for lifting off- everywhere.

I wonder what the heads of Boeing were thinking when this was an absolute success. Seeing as they can't even figure their shit out and almost lost their space capsule.

I‘d agree. There’s a half dozen companies working on big projects and each one is either using or building big facilities. The space race is back on, and they are rebuilding old stomping grounds to keep up.

Get yourself some bino's next time.  When I went down there for Arabsat 6a I watched the side boosters separate and stage separation, with some 12x Vortex Diamondbacks from the Saturn V center.
