At one time that was an official thing I think, it may have been reversed by now. It does make a lot of sense and him turning sides would have added a lot of depth to the series and character. |

The clone wars series was the only good thing that came out of the prequels. And was also somehow more serious and less cartoony than the actual movies, despite being a cartoon.
Lots of great little stories and mini archs. Krell. Mandalorian civil war, Fives, I could go on and on. |

Another thing the show does is tell you about several of the Jedi you see in the movies but have no idea who they are.
Luminara Unduli, Plo Koon, Barris Offee, and several others get plenty of screen time. |

They really wrapped up the series well between the Maul/Mandalore episodes and the Ahsoka leaving the Jedi Order arc. |

I've watched them all, better than the SW Rebels (which also got better with time).
David Filoni is a good steward of the shows, it will be interesting to see his next project. https://io9.gizmodo.com/star-wars-resistance-is-the-next-lucasfilm-animated-ser-1825546331 Ashoka was the stand out character of the entire series. Because this entire animated series is considered SW Canon, I'd like to see her in an upcoming movie. |

Kathleen Kennedy had better have nothing to do with this. View Quote This is HUGE news for this series, and for the SW fandom as a whole. My 14-year old son is super-excited. He grew up watching the Clone Wars. To him it is STAR WARS liKE the OT was for me.
I'll watch them all again from the start before the new season airs for sure. |

Rebels was almost as good until the last half of the last season when it went full retard on the metaphysical stuff and introduced time travel. ETA: And Rebels made Thrawn a bitch when they Click To View Spoiler killed him with space whales

Bump with update in OP View Quote From your twitter link pictures it sure looks like Anakin and Obi-Wan giving Ahsoka her lightsabers back with a Mandalorian behind her (the female who never accepted Maul maybe). I really hope they go with that story like they originally planned. Great news either way though . |

Dang now the question will they dump the final seasons at once or spread them out. I hope they don't do that 6m-1y thing with it. Seeing how Disney is setting up their own streaming it may be spread out. |
