New episode is up... no spoilers here, but I’m glad that this arc is over. These episodes felt like the mediocre episodes from the original run of TCW: they were there and weren’t offensively bad, but they didn’t really stand out as being great either. That being said, I’m glad that there wasn’t any lesbian SJW-ness in these episodes, one of my biggest concerns going into this season.
It’s all upwards from here. Siege of Mandalore, here we come! |

I think what bothered me the most about this little Ahsoka intro arc was she was this bad-ass Jedi General in the Clone Wars, but a few podunk gangsters routinely got the better of her. Even without her lightsabers she should have been able to easily whip those guys.

View Quote I guess we can console ourselves that at least they didn’t stoop to that level. But seriously, they were working on some killer arcs we could’ve had instead of this. It’s a shame that we burned up a third of the season for this. |

My biggest beef is the whole “the point of this was to develop Ahsoka” argument about these episodes. How, exactly, did she develop from the time we last saw her? I guess she learned that she’s meant to be a Jedi, but why? What was the turning point for her? What drove her in that direction? There isn’t anything in particular that led to her to that conclusion. That’s why her decision to join Bo Katan, a former enemy, feels so abrupt and unwarranted.

Very underwhelming arc. They basically toned down the excitement that had been building for Ashoka’s story.

After giving it some thought, these remaining four episodes we have left will be the last Star Wars media I will consume. Once they are concluded, I’m done with the franchise. Mandalorian has been okay, but not enough to keep me invested. I’m just tired of the SJW agendas and themes, the bitter infighting amongst the fans, the subpar storytelling and creative decisions, and the general fact that Lucasfilm is completely out of touch with the fan base and shows no signs of changing. I’m probably withdrawing my membership in the 501st Legion and Rebel Legion as well. I’m just done with it all. It brings me no joy or happiness anymore, just angst, frustration, bitterness, and disappointment, and I don’t see a reason to have that in my life.

View Quote With what's leaked out about the Mandolorian, I'd say tune out the fan base social media and just enjoy the new episodes when they are released. It's clear they are pulling a good bit from clone wars to feed Mandolorian and hopefully it will be as well done as the first season which was clearly designed to give you Mando's story before he really launched into a true story line. |

Welp, the new episode is up, and this is what this final season should’ve been the whole time. Not to mention being much longer, the episode was packed with good character moments, action, and tie-ins to Revenge of the Sith. Now we can finally get to the good stuff...

I freakin loved that episode!!

Awesome episode. Makes the last story arc look like an even bigger waste of time. Four episodes of pointlessness just to put Ahsoka on a ship with Bo Katan.
Was it just me or did the intro to this episode seem different than any other episode? And does anyone know how much time has passed since Anakin and Ahsoka have seen each other? |

They should have releases Siege of Mandalore as a movie like they did with the start of The Clone Wars series.

That episode was exactly how this season should've been from the word go. It was awesome. The first half of the season was garbage. I also agree it should've been a movie.

I asked my kids before we watched this one if they wanted to save them and watch them all at once, like a movie. They said no. I kind of wish we had.
The music in the episode, starting with the opening, was much more movie-like. Some of the interaction between Anakin and Obi-Wan felt like a little cheesy, like the TCW movie, but there were definitely bridges into ROTS and even the OT. Also, I was late getting on the Ahsoka bandwagon, even after she became a fan favorite somewhere in the middle of the series, but she was kicking some serious ass in this episode. Between this and the Mandalorian, SW is fun again. |

Does Moff Gideon show up in any of this? I'm thinking at the conclusion of the arc - because at the pace they are going we'll be near the end of RotS. Would Palps direct the newly formed Empire to take Mandalore under Gideon's command?

The Empire gave control of Mandalore to Saxon. and Bo-Katan had the Darksaber in Rebels and united the Mandalorians. Gideon came after. |

The shorter of Ahsoka’s blades (called a shoto) also had a distinct lime-green color which was a compromise between Filoni’s and Lucas’s wishes.

Amazing. These episodes are some of the best—if not the best—Clone Wars episodes ever.
All I know is, next episode is gonna be rough. |

Fantastic episode. Really enjoyed the tie ins with Revenge of the Sith. For some reason I got a good laugh when Ahsoka kicked Maul through the glass window of the throne room and you could see the cuts his double bladed lightsaber made on the walls. Looked like something straight out of a Wile E Coyote cartoon
I was not expecting that ending at all. I am so happy they made this final season, I just wish we could have skipped that first bit with the sisters. I'm betting that first arc set the stage for an upcoming novel or some such though. |
