Quoted: It's not weird at all. Listen to what he says, and how he says it - Yes, it's the truth as we all know, but he's saying it out of spite and a desire for revenge which is most likely the reason no one necessarily believed him. Though, to me, it seemed like Ahsoka did - Up until Maul mentioned Anakin being a crucial part as Sidious' apprentice. View Quote Which was also true. The whole scene was full of irony—the only one who actually knew what was happening was dismissed as evil and crazy. |

It’s kinda surreal seeing these episodes play out. These were the last entries in the saga that Lucas himself had a direct part in handling. It’s thrilling and saddening to see the end of an era and knowing, deep down, that this is probably the best and last new SW content we will ever get.
It’s like a dawn of something lesser is upon us—like SW itself is facing its own Order 66 moment and it’s about to play out in the next two episodes. I just can’t see SW ever getting better than this. |

Great episode.
The first few episodes with the sisters should've been cut short. Didn't really advance the story or Ahsoka arc, not enough to justify that many episodes |

Didn't really advance the story or Ahsoka arc, not enough to justify that many episodes View Quote You're not wrong, but maybe they worked backwards from the story they wanted/needed to tell. If they only needed four episodes for the siege of Mandalore then anything that came before that was intended to be filler. They could have done a better job with those episodes, sure, but I'd like to think they didn't sacrifice anything important in order to tell the story of the Martez sisters. |

Is there any video of the motion capture they did for this epsiode?

Anyone got a hi-res screen grab of the one Crimson Mandalorian with the spiky helmet walking towards the camera after he puts his helmet on? Can't remember his name cause I'm drunk. But I need it for a new background.

The last two episodes have simply been exceptional. You know the slaughter and betrayal is coming. You can feel the tension building and every conversation has massive significance. It has rekindled a love for star wars in me albeit tinged with sadness....because this is it. The end of Star Wars as we mostly know it.
Mando II is our only hope now. |

Really enjoyed the inter arc-ing with ep. 3 movie.
Also, makes me want to rewatch rebels |

Got to say, the way they took Maul's superficial character from the TPM and built it into what he bacame in SW:TCW was really special. I really dont know how I feel about him knowing how it ends for him, and where he's been, whats he's done. He's one of the best characters now in the entire franchise IMO.

View Quote After successfully capturing Maul on Mandalore, Ahsoka plans to deliver him to the Jedi Council on Coruscant. When Order 66 is declared in the midst of her journey, her world is turned upside down. Friends become foes, and enemies become allies in “Shattered” this Friday, May 1 st , followed by the heart-pounding series finale “Victory and Death” on Monday May 4 th on Disney+. damn, kind of didn't think about seeing her as 66 happens. wow |

Maybe just maybe Disney can repeat success. I’m truly shocked that Disney didn’t eff this season up. |

They kind of did they could've done without the entire first half of the season with the sisters and pikes. They were nothing more than filler and didn't really add anything. |

We had already gotten the Bad Batch arc in unreleased form and the Martez sisters arc was boring and uneventful. It’s sad that the first two arcs were pretty much wasted. That being said, these last two episodes have been some of the best SW moments of all time. |

And now the same with the third one. I don’t think TCW ever had better suspense-building or an accompanying soundtrack. Plus the level of brutality is back to the old pre-Disney standard. What an episode!

I have been saying since TCW was cancelled by Cartoon Network that they should make animated movies out of them. |

Just watched today's episode. It was very good. I realize it is easier to have this effect in a TV series than in a movie, but I just find it amazing how much more invested I am in cartoon characters than literally anyone in the latest movies.

View Quote One advantage of character development in TV as opposed to film is that you have so much more time and space to do it. That being said, the new characters like Rey still aren’t well-developed, even for movie characters. It’s clear that the level of creative and film making competence is much, much higher in TCW as opposed to the recent films, from both technical and emotional standpoints. To me, these last episodes are the zenith of SW. I just don’t see it getting any better than this, especially so long as the franchise is creatively hampstrung by the corporate overlords at Disney and LF. |

To be fair, at the time it was written they didn’t know that they would be able to make new episodes, and what we got was just as good or better than what was in the novel. |

At least now we'll finally have the real answer as to how Ahsoka survived Order 66. I LOVED the RotS audio voice-overs while Ahsoka was on the bridge. And seeing Maul go all Rogue One Vader was just sick!

The difference is TCW and Mandalorian are made by people who love and respect Star Wars...the sequel trilogy was made by people who wanted to 'put their own mark' on Star Wars. |

TCW really makes you understand the tragedy of Anakin becoming Vader that the prequels never made stand out...
These last 3 episodes has been probably the best SW series ever.. They really went all out |
