Just watched it. Easily one of the best in the series. Great music that really sets the tone.
I wonder how they'll get the inhibitor chips out of Wolff and Gregor? Also makes me wonder of there are Ahsoka + the 3 commanders stories out there yet to be told. There's 14 years of unexplored time if you figure RotS ends at 19 years BBY and Rebels picks up with Ezra being recruited by the Spectres crew at 5 years BBY. Obviously the 3 commanders go hide on Seelos at some point. I'd love to know what happens in that time. Does she just go to ground like Obi Wan, Yoda and Kanan? Ahsoka assumes the role Fulcrum at some point. I read the Wookiepedia bio for her and there's some boring developments, but like Obi Wan, maybe she was hiding until the right time. It would be interesting to see an Empire focused animated series focused from the end of Clone Wars to the beginning of Rebels, bit I doubt Disney would give us that. |

Just saw this thread but haven't read it yet. I just finished S7. Lot's of good background info in S6 & S7, but jeez, the whole thing was a bit tedious getting through. Each season should have been a long running animated movie instead of oaa these short episodes.
Also, in another thread, I saw someone recommend watching the Clone Wars to understand why the Jedi deserved Order 66. I didn't catch anything like that. Can anyone explain? |

Here's a great Q&A with Lucas and Filoni on making The Clone Wars. It's from 9:20-19:20
George Lucas and Dave Filoni Talk The Clone Wars, Plus Anthony Daniels Stops By! |

View Quote The biggest reason is the dogmatism of the Jedi, which blinded them to the growing darkness around them until it was too late. Mace Windu is, to me, the epitome of this attitude. This behavior was manifested in the Order’s poor treatment of Anakin and Ahsoka, which led to his betrayal and her abandonment of the Order. These were all themes and story lines were explored much further in TCW. |

View Quote An Ashoka and 3 commanders wouldn't be a better series... Ashoka is one of the fan favs and I guess it would give them room to bring back the sisters into the story...but they would need to not make the series SJW and let Dave Filoni & Jon Favreau manage the series |

It would be interesting to see if he realized the error of his ways after everything went down. |

I just rewatched Revenge of the Sith after watching ep 11. I highly recommend doing this to see how the events in each are fitting together

I’ll probably do that this week after the final episode airs. Also, apparently the episode aired early in certain countries, so be alert for spoilers.

Dont forget Fives discovering the inhibitor chip and what it does. |

Holy shit. That ending sequence. Powerful. Filoni did it right.

That episode went by entirely too fast
Now they need to do a short series or anime movie on Rex or something |

Ugh... so many emotions right now. Mostly sad, some hopeful, much satisfaction.
I can’t believe it’s over. |

That was incredible. Makes me want to go re-read the Ahsoka book.

When you think about how Anakin and Ashoka met int the TCW movies and how they became so close.
Anakin giving her the lightsabers and then picking up her lightsaber at the end. How does this great hero become what he has??? I can't believe it's really over... |

I really do wish we had some really awesome Captain Rex stuff to fill the gap between this and Rebels.

These are two companies that have struggled to connect to the core fans, and I hope they've finally realized what they want. |

That was an awesome, satisfying end to what once was an EU series. Far and away better than anything else produced since Disney bought Star Wars. And I liked Rebels, Mandalorian, and Rogue One. But this was better in every measure. Makes me want to get a bucket to paint and setup for display in my office.

It’s kinda sad that I feel bad for the three astromechs that got killed helping Rex and Ahsoka and feel nothing for any of the characters in the sequel trilogy.

I was thinking of doing a Coruscant Guard clone trooper (as seen in Shattered), but I think I would love an Ahsoka-helmeted clone trooper. I feel really, really sad that it's over. TCW was one of my favorite TV shows of all time and my favorite SW entry ever. I knew it had to end at some point, but it's just hard to believe that we will likely never get any more episodes. This last arc gives me a small glimmer of hope that the franchise still has some life left in it, along with the Mandalorian. Also, can we all agree that the soundtrack and visuals were amazing in these episodes? |

I've added a poll for what I thought were the top 6 episodes of the season. Feel free to vote on your favorite! Not like deciding is going to be easy...

View Quote I'm pretty convinced that CH-33P ends up being rebuilt as Chopper. The 'voice' is the same, their bouncing movements while talking are the same, the antennae on top, all the same. They were collecting CH-33P's parts at the end of the episode too. And...Filoni voiced both of them |

It's just a show, but I really formed a connection to the characters and the stories. It's seriously getting dusty in here, and I didn't think that it would. Click To View Spoiler |
