Quoted: Quoted: FWIW, on the IMDB page for this episode, Temuera Morrison is credited for playing Boba Fett. Can't pretty much anyone edit IMDB? Honestly, I dunno. That's why I qualified it with "FWIW." Also FWIW , when I saw him I thought, "Holy shit, it's Boba Fett!" I suspect that we'll find out for sure later this season. |

Quoted: Break the pearl and there is a smaller core in it. Its actually better than a kyber crystal in light saber production. Stronger beam. like so.. https://www.AR15.Com/media/mediaFiles/14562/IMG_2324-wmark-1663387.jpg View Quote So 1 pearl is 1 saber? I would think that would be extremely valuable. |

I can't believe it, but this Parks and Rec filibuster rant could now be official Star Wars canon.

Ok. I just watched s02e01.
This is pure fan service and it’s glorious. This show is giving release to blue balls I’ve had since 1977. |

I feel like I missed something.
What did Mando load onto the back of his speeder after the Krayt died? Looked like a chunk of rock? Threw a cloth over it and rode off. |

1. In the original EU, Boba Fett was very much a Mandalorian. He was made Mandalore (title of ruler of Mandalore and the Mandalorians) by Fenn Shysa, the previous Mandalore. As Mandalore, Boba Fett led the Mandalorians through the Yuuzhan Vong War and later assisted with training Jania Solo to bring down Darth Caedus (Jacen Solo) since Luke was too much of a pussy to do the job. Boba Fett had a granddaughter named Mirta Gev and she was also a Mandalorian Bounty Hunter.
2. Boba Fett escaped since the Sarlacc keeps the victims alive for a bit. While in the stomach, Boba Fett discovered that another person was psychologically connected to the creature and was able to convince it to constrict around the jetpack to set it off. That resulted in an explosion due to the stomach acid being flammable. He was thrown out and basically left for dead. Fellow Bounth Hunter, Dengar was scouring the area for weapons, equipment, etc and found Boba Fett and nursed him back to health. The Marvel Comics showing the Jawas rescue him weren't cannon even back then. |

Oh, another thing. In the original EU. Lightsabers focusing crystals are manufactured, not harvested. In Shadows of the Empire. Luke retreats to Obi-Wan's home and build a new lightsaber (the green one). It is a multifaceted process of force meditation and literary using a furnace to heat, melt, and forge materials together to make it. The use of the force is to make sure the crystal forms properly. Different color blades are done due to the skill of the force user.
Sith sabers are red because they are made a different way. |

Quoted: Good episode. Does anyone know what the sand people pulled out of that things stomach? Pearl or egg? View Quote Krayt dragon pearl. Much like birds, krayt dragons swallow stones to aid in digestion. Some of these stones contain kyber crystals. These crystals are smoothed out and refined in the lizards gut acid becoming pearls. (New canon) They can also be used as lightsaber components by Jedi/Sith. These are the rarest and most coveted items on Tatooine. (New and old canon) |

Quoted: Thanks for the info! I obviously missed some important details in Solo, and I've got some reading to do. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: It’s a pearl. Supposedly the other element that can be used to power a lightsaber. Edit: Han Solo used a krayt dragon pearl to pay his way into the famous sabacc game where he won the Millennium Falcon from Lando Calrissian. Thanks for the info! I obviously missed some important details in Solo, and I've got some reading to do. That is old canon. The books and lore made before Disney bastardized it. |

The only crystal not naturally occurring were red, red crystals were fully synthetic and constructed over days and weeks in force meditation by dark side users as the synthetic crystals were stronger than naturally occurring variants. |

So the books marked Legends are the no longer canon books and the books marked EU are canon?

Loving this show, Jon Favreau has done a great job with it and seems to be the only one at Lucasfilm that actually gets what Star wars should be. imo
