 A New Mexico state police officer has been fired after security cameras caught him having sex with a woman on the hood of a car.There's a pic available, but it's too graphic for Arfcom... eta A coworker put together a Halloween costume featuring a black uniform and a blow-up doll. |

Carbon fiber manufacturing plant.....father son duo are janitors for the office area. Dad's a nice guy son is quiet.
I wear a lot of hats so I'm also running the PBX. We notice our phone is really high so we get details and someone had been calling phone sex lines. I do some digging and it's coming from the nurses office So we install a camera to catch whoever it is. Video shows janitors son. Dad offers to pay the bill but when we show him the video of son punching the clown dad shakes his head and walks off. Problem was word got out and poor dad was embarrassed as hell but he needed the job so he put his head down and kept at it. I didn't say shit so it was either the HR guy or my manager at the time. |

Watched more than a few people commit career suicide at my last job. I was in instructor at a course that was required for promotion.
1. Dude completes oral portion of comp exam. Acknowledge the rules not to talk about exam or questions after completion. Leaves exam room, puts all the questions into a what’s app group that went to about. 60 people including instructors. Removed from class, removed from command list, booted from the service. 2. Guy filling a water bottle with vodka cause he was so dependent he needed it during the day. Passed out drunk in class. 3. Guy getting busted for drug paraphernalia in his quarters. 4. Dude banging another dudes wife in his car on the airfield perimeter road. 5. Student parking in an handicapped spot, security confronts him, he mouths off to them. Move car to another restricted spot, security confronts him again, he mouths off again. Finally moves his car. Security calls me, I call him in and read him the riot act. I told him he was going to go apologize while I figured out what to do with him. He looks at he and does his best Shaggy, “It wasn’t me.” I proceeded to pull out the stills from security cameras. Got to testify against him later as he did some other dumb shit. |

Many moons ago.
I'm working as a team leader in customer service. It's a shit job, but it keeps me afloat. We hire a bunch of new people, young kids fresh out of high school. We have a small party on a friday night, everyone's having a good time. Then I hear a commotion and I see that one of the new kids (a small scrawny guy who's a habitual liar and who's been there for like two weeks) has gotten into an argument with one of the other team leaders. As they're yelling profanities at each other, the CEO walks up to them and asks what's going on. The kid turns around, looks at this guy who's 30cm taller, and asks "who the hell are you?" Everyone bursts out laughing as we know the kid's fucked, and he storms out of there. On monday morning the kid is in a meeting with his own team leader and getting fired. He starts yelling profanities at her and is becoming belligerent (she was a small woman) so she comes out of the office and asks me to escort him off the premises. With a smile, I escort him out of there and waves him off. |

Worked for a contractor that did gas line work for a Nat Gas Co . Head service guy catches one of the other techs that had pulled his meter and piped it . Must have done it to beat the meter reader cycle, replaced as needed . Terminated , don't recall if there was theft of services charges.

Good friend of mine is working as a lot boy at a Cadillac dealership in the early 80s. Dealer has Peugeot 505 turbo diesel sedans there as courtesy cars for the Caddy owners. Buddy decides he's going to take a courtesy car out on the town that night after the dealership closes. While way over the speed limit he's almost hit by another car, overcorrects and goes up a 4 foot embankment on the right side of the road. Car barrel rolls in midair, loses the sunroof and lands on the roof in an empty field. Luckily my buddy instinctively ducked his head and his upper back/shoulders hit the ground through the open sunroof on impact. He walked away with fairly minor scratches and bruises. Car was totaled.

They unwittingly bumped the emergency exit door which triggered silent alarm, security showed up  Wasn't me but I'm slightly jealous |

I was a supervisor of 5 guys that constantly were bickering with each other which in turn came to me. Then everybody thought I was causing it and ganged up on me. One Tuesday morning we all got walked out the door.
Boy were they flabbergasted when I was fired with them. Also. Fuck those guys. Got me fired for nothing

Not my job, but I stumbled on something pretty interesting.
There was a local doctor here who was convicted of dealing drugs on the side. The police found out about him and arranged some buys of various drugs, including ecstasy, without having a prescription. He completely avoided jail time, but did have probation and community service. Then googling his name, his medical license was revoked. I'm not sure alll what happened after that, but according to public records him and his wife lost there home, and eventually moved in with someone into a lower-middle-class home (possibly a relative) Apparently this type of thing isn't super-rare. There was another doctor who prescribed a bunch of stuff to their patient and the patient died when taking 2 of the prescriptions at the same time. She was old enough to just retire after that. |

Dude I used to work with at a utility way back when embezelled cash last year with the help of a secretary. He was the field superintendent and employed there since he was 18 and was set to retire with full bennies in two years. I wasn't told the outcome and I never asked.

He then did some teaching at the range. Instead of using a gun for demos, he used a stapler for everything. Had him pulled for those antics, but he was protected and they wouldn't fire him. |

Fired a store manager at Target for leaving doors unlocked on three separate occasions. Six figure job.
Had another assistant store manager whose position was eliminated in the late 90’s. His salary was converted to an hourly rate, about $40 an hour. He was reassigned to different departments as the team leader, basically keeping the garden center looking good and scheduling his 2-3 employees. Making good money for basically being a cashier and stocking plants. Probably $80k a year for what was usually minimum wage. Well Target shut down their garden centers across the company so this guy goes to run the cafe. Making hot dogs, popcorn, mini Pizza Hut pizzas still pulling in $80k. By now he’s in his 40’s and can’t keep the cafe running right. Health inspectors show up and food is all under temp and several safety violations. Bad customer reviews too. So this genius starts keeping people’s receipts and using them to fill out the surveys and bring the scores for his department up. He then was so lazy he was doing this on the company computers in the office everyone shares and HR walked by and saw what he was doing. They fired him for that. Threw away pension (yes Target had pensions) and an almost six figure job, that honestly could’ve been done by a high schooler. Had a pilot at an airline fail a drug test. Fired and kicked out of his guard unit, so technically lost two jobs at the same time. |

Wife was an assistant buyer for a chain of department stores. head buyer left his wife & kid for a secretary.
Secretary was full of STDs, then he got fired for taking kickbacks from a vendor. I guess it's not that strange. karma is a fucking bitch. |

Another janitor story.
Cleaning crew at the big office of the firm. For whatever reason, every night, nearly at the same time, while pushing his cart through the main hall, this janitor would stop, and just jack it until he got off. Standing, in the middle of the hall. Not on anything, or targeted, just a half hour into his shift. It went on for some time because he did his job and was always on time. It wasn't until someone was randomly going through footage for something completely unrelated was the guy found out. |

I worked with a lesbian and a gay/bi guy that were good friends with each other. The lesbians girlfriend decided she wanted to try weiner, so the girl I worked with let her have sex with the gay/bi guy, turns out her girlfriend really liked weiner, and started dating the gay/bi guy. This obviously upset the lesbian girl I worked with. A few days later we just happened to receive a bomb threat at work, and while we were outside waiting to get the all clear to go back in she was having an emotional breakdown over the break up and she flipped off some customers that were driving by, which got her terminated.

When they would go to the big trade show & vendors were splurging on meals + entertainment, he would disappear. Most likely to get pounded by some muscle man. |

A person at my job got fired for working two remote jobs simultaneously. She missed too many meetings.
Her new job called her other one to verify something on her resume. She got fired from both. She was a total diversity hire, but I guess if you document enough, you can still terminate. |
