Weird games with some surprising scores.
Stupid drill kept me from seeing most of the games today. Monk |

That game took a year off my life, but I am happy. Baker Mayfield didn't give up, OU didn't give up. Absolutely incredible. http://i.imgur.com/e6BTkX0.gif View Quote I never had high blood pressure before, but I might need meds for it this season. Good game though |

OU vs Tennessee was one hell of a game...
1st team Ags looked pretty good. Nice to see a bunch of guys play in the second half that I no clue who they were.. |

OU vs Tennessee was one hell of a game... View Quote There's nothing better than watching Tennesee blow a 17 point lead at home...and lose. Knoxville tears are the best tears. That being said, Oklahoma did get some help from the officials in the 4th quarter and OT, so Stoops should probably send those guys a couple fruit baskets this week. |

jesus motherfuckkin christ... this game...
I can say without a doubt though, Musc would have lost this game. |

Yes, the refs missed a false start on OU, they however took 7 points off the board on OU earlier in the game and botched a ton of other calls against OU. But bless your little SEC heart for blaming it on officiating. |

Does ESPN shill for Oregon, as well as the SEC? I don't have cable, can't watch, but I'm looking at the web site live updates. ESPN called Oregon's 4th down play a one-yard gain & first down. After review, they updated the status to show MSU ball, but the video replay (a 20 second clip) had the announcers seeming to call it for Oregon, when the player's knee was clearly down before the ball - no gain.
I'm off to bed. Good games today. B!G has performed respectably today (except maybe the two new teams from out east ). ETA - FFS, Sparty! |

But bless your little SEC heart for blaming it on officiating. View Quote Wait, wut??? Why do these discussions always turn into a conference dick-swinging contest?? It has nothing to do with the SEC or Big-12...it was a hell of a game, and watching Tennessee throw away a big lead and lose was a beautiful thing. But watching the officials blow two obvious false start calls late in the game (that likely had an effect on the outcome) is frustrating, and it absolutely changed OU's play calling in both instances. Regardless, I would be saying the same thing had Tennessee been the beneficiary of the no-calls. |

1-0 thus far with Kentucky beating S. Carolina. View Quote South Carolina will likely be a dumpster fire again this year, yet playing them a week after a loss is always interesting. Whatever the point spread is, honest money should be on South Carolina to cover. Spurrier likes nothing more than to beat Georgia at home, and you can bet those guys will be motivated and ready to play. |

Good road win for Arizona. Running game looks good. Solomon needs some more work and the line needs to gel. But I'll take 2-0.

Pass interference on pass that had no chance of being caught, several false starts. But in no way does that mean the refs blew the game for the Vols...Oklahoma came out in the second half and played good football. There is a reason Trevor Knight is riding the bench...you guys got an excellent QB and he stepped up big. I hate the outcome of the game of course, but Oklahoma played well. That being said...Eric Striker is a classes bitch. I spoke highly of him before this game because he is an excellent player. But after all the twitter smack talk and then the stunt he pulled after the game...fuck that guy. Fits right in with Stoops though. |

I kept expected them to totally collapse, and rightfully so with how dismal the offense was, but they kept going which was nice to see for a change. |

*sigh* every year this offense stays the same - Run, run, pass, punt.
Les gets the lead and then takes off the gas. |
