OMG, I want football season to start so there's something decent going on. So sick of "regular" news. View Quote This next month or so coming up is the worst dead zone ever, because almost everything is in off season....minus the World Cup every 4 years. |

Seems a little high, of course so does Kevin Sumlin at #30. View Quote He has a LOT yet to prove. Sumlin is 79-38 as a HC. That's not bad really. Especially in the SECW. 30 may be about right. Obviously there's room for improvement though. |

Watching last year's Bama@LSU game on ESPNU
Damn, Etling is terrible. Is that guy really a starting QB at a top 25 program? ETA: I don't want to hear how he outplayed Lamar Jackson in the bowl game...Jackson might be the most undeserving Heisman winner since Eric Crouch |

Hey gators, not to pick on you....well yeah, I'll pick on you....but looks like you guys got bad news.
How many players does that make now that you lost to suspension/injury/or other reasons? This latest injury does not bode well for the team. I think Jim loses his job this year if he doesn't make drastic improvement. Part of that improvement has to be beating FSU...... Which won't happen |
|
Bama/FSU......does either team go over 24?
I think it's possible but will be very close. |

FSU camp opened up Tuesday so we're in the final countdown
I like the Noles to have an 11-1/10-2 regular season, win the ACC championship and take one of the playoff spots. Not sure who the loss will be to but I think FSU beats Clemson and Louisville this year. The only reason I included the 10-2 option is because of the Alabama game. |

I have no idea.
If Texas manages to beat USC and OU and are undefeated at that point, they could run the table with a little luck in the close games. However with the past history of this particular team, they could win both of those and lose to Kansas, Baylor, TCU, KSt and maybe even Maryland in the opener. I'll let them show me what they are going to do before getting too excited. |
|
LSU is too much of an unknown with CEO at the helm. No predictions from me.

I talked to my brother who still lives in Oxford. I'm know or am 1 degree away from quite a few people tied to the Level 1 allegations and some of the lesser infractions.
As far as the Level 1 allegations, the guy I know is a piece of shit. It doesn't surprise me at all he was stupid enough to get caught. |

I think he will be great, and I'm willing to give him time, but he beat teams he shouldn't have and lost to teams he should have beat at Houston and that is exactly what Strong did with this current group. Plus I think they are going to be weak on the Dline especially late in the season. View Quote They should have 1 of the best D lines in the Big12 IMO. I hear they are switching to a 3-4 which will require some adjustment. Why do you think the D-line will be a weak point? |

IF>>>>>>>we play as a team and not as a bunch of individuals like last year. |
