I very much copy Kyle Lambs AR set up after watching his videos on youtube.  Does that count?

The poster from 007 QS made me get an MP5SD. I mean, I had always liked them, but that just put it over the edge.

The only one that that I wanted after seeing it in a movie was the one in Death Wish. The Wildey, but after pricing one I changed my mind. I still want one but can't justify the price.

My Dad was heavily into collecting guns during the late 70's.  Hell, he never stopped.

He got a few NFA items well before the 1986 cutoff.  I was in junior high and had six different AR's to choose from, all with the pony on the side.

H&K A91's with original german scope and mount were my hog weapon of choice in 1989 cause that is what I had just starting high school.

I was spoiled when it came to guns.  I usually watched movies and did not say I want that, but told my friends, I shot that last weekend.  I had to take them home and get dad to pull it out of one of the safes.

But today, with this post I quoted, is the first time I have ever seen anyone mention the Wildey.  I have one handed to me by dad.  The ammo is high dollar.  Being gas operated the recoil is very nice.  Not a practical pistol though due to size.

Padre also has a Bren Ten with the mag.

Yes, my wife even tells me, I am spoiled.

Bourne Identity

SP2009 right? God I want one of those real bad.

Ya, they misidentified it as an SP2340 (which is what I have) at IMDB.com.  Bet you won't find an SP2340 in Zurich, though.  The original 2009/2340's had Swiss frames, not German.

I'd pick one of those up as well.

Yep. I wanted one as soon as I saw the first Die Hard movie. Sold it later.

I can't believe I am the only one so far that mentioned a nickel-plated Star Model B with pearl grips.  Mr. 9mm is the coolest gun ever.  This is seriously the only gun I would want from a movie or TV and not because of the gun itself, but because the character was so cool.

None really, except that I bought a Beretta copy of a Colt Peacemaker pretty much solely based on a childhood of watching westerns.  I have no real use for the thing otherwise.

I don't know if it's coincidental or not, but my real gun buying began around the same time as Modern Warfare 1. Since then I've bought an AR-15 with an Aimpoint, a Yugo Underfolder AK and a 1911.

I also discovered Arfcom around the same time.

Yeah... caught a rerun of Red Dawn and Blackhawk Down recently and found myself identifying different AK variants through both movies from what I picked up here at ARFCOM.

About time to take the plunge and get a shooter.

Now I have two.
