Its hilarious to me how the last two pages are filled with Trump backers posting links to the Washington Times...who fired the reporter pushing the rumor several hours ago.
It illustrates their main motive is not the truth of the story...but that a slanderous story MUST get out. |

I also thought it odd that his spokesperson said the NE named her, when it didn't name any of the women and had pixelated their faces. She had that info pretty damn quick this morning didn't she? From her Twitter: Katrina Pierson ?@KatrinaPierson Mar 15 Political hacks @therickwilson @CheriJacobus couldn't even come up w/a plausible scandal, the absurdity is obvious. So a Trump campaign spokesperson is denying the scandal? Interesting, Katrina Pierson is denying it -- remember NE didn't name anyone. The twitterverse decided it was her (and the picture does look a lot like her), but they haven't confirmed. Well, she asked if people "believing trash in tabloids" was worse, not "trash in Twitterverse." So she appears to have a strong opinion about the facts as reported by NE. How would she know anything to have an opinion about the article if she's not one of the people in it? Because it was brought to her attention, she read it and knew it was a lie? |

Politics is disgusting, but this race really takes the cake. The kind of behavior it elicits in some of you shocks me. The lows get lower every week and you get more frenzied with each new disgusting turn. This thread is embarrassing. And not in the way some of the Trump supporters might think. I'm embarrassed for some of them. The glee and malice I see in some of these posts, wishing for Cruz to have cheated on his wife. Wishing for his wife to have had some kind of nervous breakdown or something. Wishing for all of this stuff to be true about a Senator with a record of staunch second Amendment support is beyond perplexing. It's insane. I'm not going to lie... I don't like Trump. I like Cruz for this job. But I don't like anyone the way some of you apparently like Trump. Many of you have basically joined a cult of personality with regard to Trump. And I honestly don't want to have anything to do with you. Not now. Not after the election, regardless of outcome. And it doesn't have anything to do with not wanting to hear what you have to say, but rather knowing that it isn't ideas that matter to you, but tactics, regardless of collateral damage, worthiness, or falsity. A few of you have shown us all what kind of character you have. At this point, I'm going to look on the bright side of this whole disgusting political cycle and see it as an opportunity to watch more toxic people self-identify. I finally found a good use for the ignore list. It isn't because you're saying stuff I don't want to hear. It's because I don't want to fuck up and accidentally interact with sociopaths. Not because I can't stand to hear you, but because there's no upside to talking to you or being around you. Frankly, I'm surprised we haven't seen a few instances of arocking on this board over this political cycle. I expect to see it. Now who has that browser script for hard filtering certain topics? I'm ready for it. Fuck this shit. Yep. +1 I'm tired of replying in these threads but then someone says something so fucking stupid I can't help it, even though I know it's pointless. |
